Plains of Golarin, 26+ Talisandre

The next morning finds you well rested, if a bit chilled, with the food running low, just enough for a nourishing, if somewhat meager, breakfast.

A light frost covers the ground, and a cold wind blows at your backs as you head south across the plains.

Late in the day, you find tracks in the grass which Jaxar interprets as coming from a large pack of Beastmen.  They are over a day old, and also heading south.

The food has also run out at this point.

In reply to GM (msg #1):

*Fearing the threat of the whole group suffering from lack of food, Kar begins looking in earnest for the best possible hunting areas along the way. Even vermin can be used as a source of protein.*

Re: Plains of Golarin, 26+ Talisandre

Traveling south across the plains, Kar spots a small herd of durge ahead, although perhaps a half-mile to the west of your intended path.

They would be relatively easy to hunt, if you are so inclined, although it is likely that bringing one down and butchering it would take up the remainder of the day.

Jaxar will hunt as well. He will also utilize his survival skills to further enhance the party's endeavors.

"Once we have taken the beast down and butchered it, dare we light a fire to cook the meat?"

"It may sound excessive, but if we take down two, and leave one a bit away from our own activity, it would draw attention from us. Why approach an armed group when there is a free fresh kill available?"
