"Standby, Tracker."

Roice immediately begins to plan another microjump, this time accessing the Tracker's navigation database for anyplace that would be safe, sympathetic, and might have service facilities.

09:59, Today: Roice Delfinn rolled 13 using 3d6+1 with rolls of 6,3,3. Planetary Systems check.
09:59, Today: Roice Delfinn rolled 2 using 1d6 with rolls of 2. +1 Wild Die to previous.

Re: Homebase
The ships are currently navigating the Tertiary Etti hyperspace route.  According to the navicomp, the route terminates in Wildspace at the Mytus system.

An uncontrollable shiver runs down your spine as you see that.  Any of you that did time in Borbilla remember the rumors of the Star's End penal facility.

But midway along the route, on the border of CS space and the official boundaries of Wildspace lies the Farana Sector.  It's marked as an independent sector, unaffiliated with either the Corporate Sector or the Empire.

Re: Homebase
Having appeared once more in the area, Bulyip is now looking out the cockpit window now that the sensation of hyperspace is done. Climbing up on the control panel, he is practically attempting to climb the surface to peer around the dome windows.

"No fighters firing on us. Much improvement. Anyone want some food?" He reaches into a pocket, and pulls out some loose, unwrapped bars of some light brown material. It appears to be some sort of nutrition bar.

Re: Homebase
"Maybe." Bulyip goes into a couple pockets, pulling out some items in the process. Mostly non food, some looking like pieces of junk metal parts. But the Aleena seems to take some excitement in finding a bit of sticky paste squishy out of one package.

Holding the packaged item to Harry, he offers, "Yep, found one!" as it seems to stick slightly to one of his fingers when trying to let it go, and needing to flick his finger for a bit back and forth trying to shake the package off.

"Well, not awful I guess." He mumbled, taking the package and opening the sticky wrapper to get to the food inside, "Not as good as killing and eating my own, but it'll do I guess."

Selous: Mmmm...  Gooey, and warm.  And surprisingly tasty.  The hint of pocket lint gives it just the right depth of flavor.  Whatever it is...

Roice: A brief bit of digging on the local Holonet feed brings up further information.  The Farana sector is home to the Ocsinin/Ocsin (different sources can't seem to agree on the proper name).  They're near-human and, more importantly, mostly independent.  They have a few colonies within the borders of the Corporate Sector (Ocsin, Saclas), but for the most part aren't affiliated with the CSA or the Empire.

You remember meeting a few Ocsinin in Borbilla.  While inmates in a debtors prison probably aren't the best measuring sticks by which to judge an entire species, you don't recall any of them being particularly rude, aggressive, or xenophobic.

In fact, there was this one cute little number who was always giving you the eye in the food line...

But I digress.

Given what you're able to uncover, the Farana sector seems like the perfect bolt-hole for your group to hide in while you lick your wounds and figure out your next course of action.

"Alright boys, we're going to give A'den 30 minutes starting now.  If he hasn't shown up by then..."

He turns on the 720's spotlights and positions the Tracker for a slow roll, surveying for any visual damage.

"Haskel, how is Splynn?  Should we try to dock?"

"Splynn is still unconscious. We breathed in some poisonous fumes while putting out a fire. Without medical facilities I can't diagnose his condition. The best I can do is manage his symptoms. If there are any medical supplies on the other ship I need them before we go back into hyperspace."

While talking Garret would assess (as best he could) Splynn's condition again.

OOC:
15:37, Today: Garret Haskel rolled 16 using 4d6 with rolls of 5,5,5,1. first aid.

Re: Homebase
Splynn is still unconscious and still having trouble breathing, but doesn't seem to be in immediate distress.  There's nothing more you can do with a medpack.  The man needs a doctor.

The Tracker is blasted and battered, but still appears to be sound.  She's a tough old bird with a strong hull.

Re: Homebase
Roice shakes his head with disbelief and relief.  "Welcome to the depths of space, glad you could make it.  I'm sending over our new coordinates.  We need to get out of here quickly--who knows what sort of tracking equipment Sparks planted in here, and there could be a Star Destroyer right behind us."

He transmits the heading.

"Splynn is hurt, is there any sort of medical bay over there?  Also, looks like the Aethersprite almost didn't make it.  Let's dock her and get the hell out of here."

(Skipping ahead)

Using the 720's remaining shuttle, the Aethersprite is redocked with the Ghtroc and everyone is able to regroup aboard the old freighter.  It's time to discuss plans (quickly) and get moving before anyone comes snooping along this hyperspace vector to see if you've gone this way.

I say we get the hell out of here.

I'd like to find a quiet hanger we can park all these boats, get everyone nursed back to health, repair Q7 and let him go crazy.

Re: Homebase
Okay, majority consensus to move along.  So, A'den returns to the Gamma, everyone else stays on the 720, and you all fly off to the destination researched by Roice earlier.

This thread is now closed and I'll start a new one once I get everything figured out.  In the meantime, here's some CP!

5 CP for this adventure that wasn't supposed to happen. ;)

5 more CP to cover what's going to happen between now and when the new thread starts.

Everyone that used a Force Point gets it back.

There will be a one month time-skip that I'll fill you all in on at the start of the next adventure.
