Okay, all moved in and currently leeching internet off the nearby bible college (which I believe it only a venal sin, so I'm probably not going _straight_ to Hell...).  Hopefully I can get everything back on track now.

Welcome back, Cactus. :) And I was never sure what the big deal is over leeching internet. :\

Re: OOC 2
Selous: You brought 5 grenades

And I hope you enjoyed them, because Roice just sold the rest. ;)

Mav: Private data plans usually have a transfer cap, over and above which the ISPs will usually either cut you off or charge you extra.  Because, of course, it costs them SO VERY MUCH to keep the lights on while computers talk to each other...

So, I totally get why home users take offense at strangers leeching off their internet connection.

But companies need to just hush up.  There's no way people sipping at the massive bandwidth most corporations pay for could ever seriously impact the data transfer more than what the company's already doing.

And, yet, I work for a company that has a wifi network that's got a protected password and everything on it for that very reason.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go upload several hundred megabytes of data to a server halfway across the continent as part of my regular work duties.  Boy, I sure am glad nobody's going to be stealing any of my company's bandwidth by checking their email...

The grenades? Why would you sell the grenades? Have you not seen serenity? Grenades are ALWAYS helpful. At east I still have the 4 thermal detonators I took from the crate.

Probably because they're more useful in the hands of the Rebellion than with you psychos.

I say to the guy who threw live ordinance at policemen just trying to do their jobs whilst driving down a street filled with innocent civilians. ;)

Grenades?  Where we're going we don't need grenades.

Wait, uh, wrong context.

Sounds closer to back to the future from the wording.

obviously grenades are more useful to me, as I care more about not going to jail then I do about the lives of bounty hunters, cops, or innocents. <_<

Under the Radar folks: Because of the time difference between what you've got going on and what the guys who went to sell the guns are up to, you've got to figure out what you're going to do to stay out of trouble for at least two weeks.  So, I'd start thinking about that if I were you guys. ;)

Why use a grenade when a blaster bolt through the windshield at head level aimed to pass through the driver's location could solve the problem, reduce civilian casualties, and save the grenade for a time when it really might be needed (also saves money).

.... Because that would require a much higher roll to make from a moving vehicle, grenades are cooler, civilians can suck one, I thought we had crates of grenades, and because blowing things up is fun.

I'm not going to dignify that with a response...

(he says by way of responding...)

Selous: If it makes you feel better, you can figure out a way to raid a local military arms depot.  You have two weeks before Roice and the others get back. ;)

I'm off for along weekend.  Going to the seaside with the family, then the Paralympics Wheelchair Basketball!
I'll try to post before I go, if not back on Wednesday.

Time skipped!

Apologies for sending you all to the corner to think about what you've done.  But Doc's really not in the mood for the group's shenanigans any longer. ;)

On the plus side, you're safe from the police.

For now...
