Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
The officer holsters his blaster and steps in to inspect the vehicle while his two partners keep you covered from the police cruiser.  After a minute or so of snooping, the cop steps back and nods.  "Everything looks to be in order.  I apologize for the inconvenience.  You gentlebeings have a nice day."

He turns and returns to the police speeder, which pulls off and heads back to the main road.

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
The search complete, Haskel and A'den get back into the speeder.  The shipyard gate opens as they arrive, revealing Doc driving a speeder of his own, headed out.

He pulls up alongside to exchange a quick word.

"You boys better get inside and stay inside.  I expect you'll be needing your ships prepped and ready for launch pretty fast.  Ask those bonehead friends of yours for details if you'd like." He's frowning and shaking his head as he says this.  "Knew I should've retired and gone into nerf herding..." he mutters as he pulls off without another word.

Haskel and A'den drive into the shipyard, gate closing behind them, and pull up to the hangar where their ships have been stored while being refit over the last few months.

Nothing seems out of the ordinary inside.  In fact, things look better than ever.  All three ships are fully assembled--at least, judging by the fact that parts and components are no longer scattered all over the floor--and they look to be cleaned up and all their battle damage repaired.

Well, the Ghtroc (newly christened as the "Kaadu" by her new captain, Garret Haskel) will never look like it's fresh from the factory.  But at least some of the rust has been sanded off (where it's not the only thing holding the hull together).  And the new, oversized turret on top is an interesting addition.

The Tracker looks to be back in fighting trim, her hull clean and patched expertly.

The biggest change is in the Gamma.  The Imperial drab gray paint job has been replaced by a vicious looking black and red that not only enhances the ship's deadly profile, but also cleverly disguises its military heritage.  The rear turbolasers are gone--sacrificed to become the Kaadu's new fangs--but the ship still just looks almost ridiculously overarmed for a civilian vessel.

Perfect for the personal craft of a Mandalorian.

The lights are on in the Tracker, so that's where the pair heads.  The are surprised to be confronted by a pair of heavy lifting droids as the round the boarding ramp.

"Don't mind them," the familiar voice of Chatterbox calls over the ship's loudspeaker.  "They're here to keep these guys in, not you out.  Welcome back, fellas!"

Sticking his tongue at Metzz, Bulyip crosses his arms, and slinks away. "Fine."

Then he'll head for the loading ramp, and await the arrival of the old crew back.

Metzz speaks to no one in particular as he heads for the cockpit.
"When the Captain get's beck, tell him I need to talk... in private."

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Garret walks into the Tracker where everyone is gathered.

"It's just me and A'den for now. Is there a reason why this ship is being guarded by those droids and why Doc warned us to get inside and stay inside?"

OOC: wasn't Y'tes with us?

OOC: No, I forgot to load him up.  He's guarding the ship, I guess.

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Waving his little blue greyish colored hand back and forth furiously to gain their attention, Bulyip calls out, "You're back! We go now! Let's go somewhere else where not so boring!"

Coming forward, he tries to look down the ramp, and spotting the droids, he backs up, knowing what happened last time. "Me not take anything! Not sure why we have stay. Me think Chomper getting Doc mad, chewing up his things. Me not take anything. Roice still friends?" The Alneea jabbers quickly to the two.

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Sepoys headed to the loading ramp with bulyip, ignoring the Aleena as he answers Haskel.

"We had a run in with some bodyguards when we went to check on splynn. Had to blow up a few cop cars with grenades. Nothing serious. Lets just get off this rock and never come back here ever. I'm pretty sure we're officially terrorists now." He says, crossing his arms as he leans against a bulkhead.

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Shaking his elongated reptilian head side to side, and waving both hands in front of him signaling 'no', he adds, "Bulyip not throw any grenades. Not one. But Bulyip fire big blaster at tough guys! Woot! Tough Guys scatter everywhere!"

Bulyip's hand close into fists, and them open up feigning something 'Blowing up' as his hands and fingers spread apart as he relays his story about firing on the bodyguards.

Nodding his head up and down, he points to his chest, saying, "Me save everyone! Selous alive cause of me." He seems pretty smug about that.

"Acknowledged, engines on and buckle up.  Standby."

Roice switches over to Stoo's frequency.  "They're ready.  Commence at your convenience.  As always, pleasure doing business with you, Stoo."  He ends the call.

He switches back.  "Distraction incoming.  Good luck, and see you in a few hours at the rendezvous point."  He terminates the connection and looks at Y'tes.

"Let's hope you and I aren't the only ones that show up."

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
"I'll see you in a few hours. Try not to blow anything else up on the way out."

Garret left the Tracker and made his way to the Kaadu to get it ready; as best he could; to leave. He wasn't a pilot. He also still did not know what to do with a ship of his own; never having owned one or even considered owning one.

Once the ship was ready he would wait for the distraction and then take off and head the ship away from the city and into orbit.

16:16, Today: Garret Haskel rolled 9 using 4d6 with rolls of 2,2,4,1. ship power up sequence-space transport.

"Roger that Captain."

Then on the open channel to the hanger/other ships.
"Time to leave folks, prep for dust off.  There'll be a distraction any time now to allow us to break orbit.
We'll scatter and regroup at the rendez-vouz cordinates.  I'll take the Tracker, who's taking the Ghtroc and the Gamma?"

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Fortunately, the Ghtroc 720 was made with mass-consumerism in mind.  Everything about the operation of the ship is designed to be as easy to understand as possible while still allowing for a modicum of customization and flexibility.

It's no YT-1300, but the old space turtle is still meant to be user-friendly.

That being the case, Haskel is able to puzzle out the startup sequence with little trouble.

"Time to leave folks, prep for dust off."

"It's about damn time!" Q7 exclaims in his new, ratchety voice.  The astromech/battle-droid hybrid plunks down in the pilot's seat and starts getting the Tracker ready for launch.

Hearing the offer of who's taking the Ghtroc, and the Gamma, from Metzz, Bulyip thinks that is a really good offer."Can I pilot?!" the Aleena asking while raising his hand. No one has ever seen him fly any of the ships before.

"Bulyip want to be Captain. Captain Bulyip!"

Harry sat himself down in the lounge of the tracker after checking to make sure everything they owned was properly loaded on to the one ship he actually expected to survive take off. A smile crept on to his face as he closed his eyes and happily didn't fly a space ship.

"Copy Jai'galaar.  Copy KaaduTracker dusting off now.  Split up as soon as we're clear of the hanger and jump to hyperspace jump as soon as your clear of orbit.  See you on the other side."

With that Metzz lets CBox and Q7 do there thing, while Metzz sirs in the Co-Pilot chair.

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
With the lack of denial, Bulyip takes that as an affirmative. He follows Mettz to the cockpit, and though Metzz takes the pilot's seat, Bulyip hops up in the next closest seat, whether co pilot, or communications, he doesn't care.

Bulyip will look for the ship's internal comms, and press it, before saying, "This is Captain Bulyip speaking, prepare for lift off."
