Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Roice calls over to the Tracker from the Skies' bridge.

"Chatterbox, start new, fresh alias profiles for each of us, to associate with this ship.  Nothing fancy, just clean and simple."

OOC: The big guy's a Houk.  I thought I had made his species up from scratch.  Turns out I was wrong. ;)

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Bulyip is a little surprised by the appearance of the large brutish looking alien. He can't but speak up, "oh no! No body warned us about scary big guy. Is this a trap? Me no like traps!" Speaking up to the alien, the smaller alien says, "you look like you are trouble. Are you trouble?"

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
"On it, Captain!" Chatterbox replies happily from the Tracker.

"Already got lunch started," the big guy replies, nodding to Haskel.  "Jus' wanna know how many places t'set." He points a thick finger behind him, "Roys in onna bridge, wanted me t'send you guys there when you showed up."

Y'tes looks down (waaaaay down) at Bulyip, scratching his head in confusion, "Wha?  Am I in trouble?  Dun think so..." his confused expression changes to one of dawning horror, "MY MUFFINS!" he shouts, pushing past the group and thundering down the passageway and out of sight.

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Garret quickly stepped to the side to allow Y'tes to pass before he got shoved into a bulkhead. He doubted the others would be as fortunate; as none of them knew how seriously he took his cooking.

"Bridge is this way, but first I have something for you." Garret quickly handed out the credits (2000 for Selous, 1000 each for Metzz and Bulyip), then lead them all to the bridge.

"Everyone is here." he said to Roice as he entered the bridge.

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Harry slid the creds in to a pocket instantly. He had a bit, but nowhere near 2000. With his bank roll more then doubled, a grin was plastered all over his face as he stepped on to the bridge after Garret.

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
Surprised to see the large brutish alien run off, that does give the Aleena a little more confidence that this wasn't a trap. Taking the offered credit stick, he bites on it before pocketing it himself.

He runs quickly to try and keep up with the larger humans to the bridge.

"Roice?!" The Aleena calls out upon hearing the name called out, and he looks around to see if Roice can be spotted.

"Also, C-Box and Q7, I'm sending over a set of slave codes.  Encrypt them, heavily, and store them someplace safe, then wipe any existence of the original numbers.  I only want you two knowing them, meaning only the Tracker will have access to the Clear Skies' control rig.  I've set it up on this side for dumb reception only, so it's not going to log any other master ship's transponders or interface records.  This ship is to stay clean, understood?"

He winces momentarily before continuing.

"And Q7, set up a bi-weekly memory wipe of the R5 Delfinn out," he says quickly then cuts the comm.

He sits back in the flight deck command chair and waits for the group to assemble.

"Everyone get paid?"

Nodding his head to the mention of payment, Bulyip hears Garret ask about their next move, to which he quicks says, "We go shopping! And someplace safe. You guys make trouble in past two locations. Maybe we go somewhere safe, where they don't pull blasters out at the sound of a burp. And we should look at what we have for food too."

"I agree with Bul, we need someplace safe to lay low for a while and regroup while we plan our next moves, and I'm open to suggestions.  Thanks to the weapons sale, we do have a little bit of operating capital, but I don't want to go crazy with it because any docking fees and upcoming basic maintenance will come out of that coffer."

Roice is about to answer, but stops short and sits up straight in the chair, alarmed.  He looks at the comm controls with confusion then around at the group.

"C-Box, I just turned that off," he says loudly.  "Why can you still hear me?"

"Oh, umm," the droid brain replies with the tone of a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar.  "I was just testing the slave rig and thought I'd take a detour through the auxiliary subroutine buffer.  Guess I should've zigged where I zagged.  But, on the plus side, I just found a whole suite of pretty interesting back doors in this ship's computer, all routed through the slave rig.  Probably meant to give the dealership access for repos."

Roice runs his hands over his head.

"Disable them, please," he says through gritted teeth.  "And don't get fancy, remember, this is a civilian vessel with legitimate credentials."

He shakes his head.

"So what is this idea you have, anyway?"

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
"Well, as you know, I had a lot of time on my hands--so to speak--while the ship was being repaired.  I spent a lot of that time listening to comm chatter, browsing the HoloNet, setting up shell corporations with untraceable business accounts in the local banking system.  Y'know, just twiddling my thumbs.  Again, so to speak.  But I also listened in on the HuttNet--there's a good node not far from Farana, so I was able to get a strong signal--and found out some interesting stuff.  For instance, did you know there's an illegal Frasium mine operating on Galfus (a planet in the Farana system, equivalent to Mercury in ours)?  Oh, and Burgour the Hutt owns stakes in half of the gambling operations in the Morellian Commonwealth?"

Re: 5: Flying Under the Radar
"Huh?  Oh, yes, Captain.  Anyway.  So, as I was saying, I listened to the chatter on the HuttNet a lot and heard about a place that would be perfect for us.  It's called Farside Station.  I don't have the exact coordinates, but I know it's on the Coreward side of the Corporate Sector.  Apparently it's supposed to be a popular freebooter stronghold that exists outside of CSA or Imperial control and is a stopping off point for a lot of smugglers and pirates that operate in the Sector.  As you can imagine, it's existence is a widely-known, but closely held secret.  So, it might take a bit of digging to wheedle the coordinates.  But it'll take a couple of weeks to get there anyway, so it's not like I won't have time, right?"

"Sounds like a place I could get some decent body armor." Harry said with a grin as he took a vacant seat, "and maybe some more explosives. Those were entertaining."

He scratched his chin, "And do you think there are bars we can go to on this station? I haven't had a decent drink since before Sparks went all nutso, imperial assassin, ninja, comm expert, neck snapper on us."
