Re: 2: The Mines
It was to loud to know exactly where it was, but he had a good idea where A'den was before what ever was making all that racket had made its move. Lacking a better plan Jared ops to go all in on the opening hand and attempts to leap on to the unseen monsters back.

OOC: 11:52, Today: Jared Verik rolled 4 using 1 dice with the WEG Classic system with rolls of {Wild}4. Plus character point.
11:52, Today: Jared Verik rolled 3 using 1 dice with the WEG Classic system with rolls of {Wild}3. Plus character point.
11:52, Today: Jared Verik rolled 18 using 5 dice with the WEG Classic system with rolls of 6,{Wild}5,1,2,4. Brawl.  total roll 25

Re: 2: The Mines
Bulyip skitters out of the way, pressing himself back against the wall to avoid the fighting.  The creature slashes at A'den's chest, but only manages to rip his already ragged shirt to shreds.  It slips to the side as Verik attempts to leap on it and the resulting pile-up of Jared and A'den prevents the Mandalorian from attempting his leg sweep.

Haskel slogs up to the group from further down the tunnel, panting heavily from the exertion of running in ankle-deep mud.

A'den and Jared are prone.

Bulyip is still off to one side.

The creature is snarling and growling in a strangely... organized way.  It almost sounds like it might be talking.

New Initiative:
Haskel
Creature
Bulyip
A'den and Verik simultaneous (how appropriate...)

Re: 2: The Mines
Garret ran up to the creature; hopefully behind it; and brought the bone down hoping he would hit it.

You rolled 10 using 3 dice with the WEG Classic system ((2,4,{Wild}4)).<---damage

Re: 2: The Mines
OOC: Actually, that's just the creature's action.  I thought it might prod others to post.  We're still in the same round... -_-;

If you'd like to throw that in as a second action, you can, but it'll cost you dice.

Re: 2: The Mines
Haskel swipes with his improvised club but fails to hit anything.  The creature turns its attention to its attacker and there's a sharp "Crack!" as the bone is forcibly knocked from Garret's hand and sent spinning into the pitch darkness.

Verik and A'den take advantage of the creature's distraction to get back on their feet.

Re: 2: The Mines
The creature manages to avoid Haskel and A'den's attacks, but since it is now ringed round by the three of you and is focused on Verik, it leaves itself open.  It's slashing attack misses Verik as he steps up and connects solidly with the creature's... body?

It feels like you strike it in the jaw--a hairy, elongated jaw filled with multiple sharp teeth.  The creature grunts in pain, but doesn't seem unduly injured.

Even though you can sort of see each other's shadowed outlines in the wan light provided by Forem's flashlight on the other side of the rockfall, the creature itself cannot be seen.

OOC: Since all four of you are basically within poking distance of each other at this point the penalties will be lessened for attacks.

A'den

Re: 2: The Mines
The creature attempts to push past the three of you, get free of the surrounding ring, but A'den jumps on its back and Haskel and Verik strike mercilessly with their fists, pummeling the hairy, mud-caked thing.

The formerly savage growls turn into miserable whimpers as the creature collapses to the ground under A'den.

It's still struggling, but to escape, not attack.

The thread's closed.  Expect a summing up post once I've finished retooling the game a bit.  I'll pass out XP once I figure out what's going on.
