Meg nodded, and said "Just make sure it's EMP resistant.  And can withstand high pressures.  I've been known to subject myself to gravitational stresses nobody else I know could definitely survive.  I do it mostly because my body regenerates from anything."

Iris nodded, slightly distracted. She didn't care to get into scientific theoreticals right now, so she just pulled her tricorder and began scanning the cave, looking for any spikes or such. She didn't want to wreck the vampire's home, but she wanted to know what sort of dampening he had on it so that she could counteract it.

She also pulled out her Star Trek communicator, "Mr. Eskin had called before we came out, worried about Meg, right? I'll call and let him know that everything is a-ok." She told the others, tapping on the communicator since he obviously wasn't on the mind-worm net, "Mr. Eskin? Come in Mr. Eskin. Operation Recovery has been a success. Do you copy?"

"So what are we up to now? Anything that requires our attention? I'll need something to keep myself busy while Fluid Reconstitutes himself."

Iris' lips thinned. Fluid had been evaporated again? "When he gets back, tell him to come and see me. Will you? I think I can get him some catalyst that should help him recover faster. Theoretically, at least."

Ex nods at Iris. "Could you? That'd be great, I get lonely when he's not around."

Iris chatted amiably, then turned to Meg, sweeping the scanner in her direction, "Your apartment is a mess and the police are there. Your mom is with Mr. Eskin. We should probably get you home. I have to talk to your mom because I have to take that test."

 Meg nodded, and said "We can do that, Iris.  You like to fly with me, or with Ex?  He's faster than I am."

Iris considered, then admitted, "I could run it. We could race."

"Sounds like you guys have a good way home. Candy...you wanna go with?"

Victoria turned to Andy.

"What do you think, amor? Have we worn out our welcome, or shall we go with them to the reunion of mother and daughter?"

"Sounds like fun Iris, Ready when you are."

  Andy rumbled for a moment, then said "Let's swing by the HQ for a few, so we can check and make sure that nobody tried to trash it too, then we can catch up.  It WILL take Meg and Ex a few to fly there.  With the way I can go, we can be there in a moment."

"Es bueno..." Victoria replied. "Ready to go when you are.."

  Andy wrapped his wings around her, and blinked them away.

Iris hurried to the doorway, waving to Mr. Gysbourne, "Hi! We're gonna race Meg home, okay? Her Mom's there." She made certian that it was okay with her adoptive father before she took a runner stance, "Ready, Set...."

Ex Smiled standing next to Iris. Once everything was set he shouted "GO!" and flew off.

At the sound of Ex shouting 'go', Iris took off as well, leaving a blur of slightly shimmering rainbow behind her and a light cloud of dust. She ran, her legs pumping and her hair and jacket flowing behind her. Her eyes sparkled with the exhilaration of letting loose, since she'd been going at approximately normie speed for most of the day. She laughed into the night, leaving papers fluttering in her wake.

  Meg shouted "GO!!"  And then flung herself skyward.

Icepick looked back to Candy.

"Well...looks like everyone's made their own plans. What do you wanna do?"

  Candy offered him her hands, and said "Back to our bench in the riverwalk?"

Icepick "de-iced" until he was Jeff once again.

"Now THAT sounds like a great plan..." he said grinning as he took her hand.

Ozzy continued to talk on the phone while the others made plans. When the others had left, Ozzy walked out to the car, and he and Grandpa got in and set out back to town.
