"Yep, she's in there." Iris told the others quickly, flashing the screen, "Though you'd think that someone with this kind of taste in furniture might go for a more traditional home."

Iris shook her head, "Nope. Just her asleep on a four-poster bed." She twiddled the drones some more to try to catch sight of the pottential aggressor.

"Who knows? Now that we've found Meg, I think we should go find out. It's not like we weren't expecting a fight, anyway." said Painter as he started towards the mouth of the cave, shield at the ready.

Re: THe Vampires Lair

As the heroes entered the cave it filled with a thick mist after a moment the mist began to move together coalescing into a figure of a man before he formed into flesh. "She is mine. Leave this place or suffer the consequences." He said in a calm but cold voice.

"Yours, huh? By what right? Meg is her own person, and we're her friends. Either give her back, or prepare to have your teeth kicked in." said Painter, taking a defensive stance. This guy was really creepy, but Painter was going to stand his ground.

[[Forming out of mist? What the... maybe he's like Darren, and just has control over his steam form?]]

  Andy stood at the back, and simply let a deep, rumbling growl sneak out.  The kind of sound that REALLY didn't make promises for fun.

Victoria stayed with Andy, a look of determination on her face. The daughter of Lin would not be captive for much longer.

"A vampire lord, huh? Well, as a Mage, it's my duty to send your supernatural self packing whenever you start threatening innocents. Meg definitely counts, even if she's not a mundane. So why don't you surrender, or we'll kick your sparkly ass." said Painter, smirking beneath his helmet.

Re: THe Vampires Lair

When Vincent dashed foward, Ozzy's newly acquired demonic reflexes kicked in, and he stepped forward, into the attack. As he did, he brought his shield up to deflect the blows, then counter-attacked with a sword thrust at Vincent's shoulder.

"Psh. I've heard that before, Sparkly! You need to come up with some more original lines!"

Re: THe Vampires Lair

Iris stood frozen at a single spot, watching as the vampire attacked. A vampire?! How... well, well, well. She stood there, looking for all the world like a twelve-year-old who was out of her depth.
 {Keep his attention, guys. I'll slip around you guys and go see what I can do about Meg once I'm sure it's okay. Also, I may need to use some flash devices. I'll warn you guys.}

As Vincent ducked to dodge Ex's tackle, Painter brought an armored knee up quickly to try and smash Vincent's face, hoping the vampire wasn't quite quick enough to dodge both attacks.

Victoria gestured with her hands, muttering a mystical incantation. A searing ray of what appeared to be fire came forth from her finger at the vampire.

Icepick was gratified, seeing that the crazy "mage-chick" was able to at least make the bloodsucker feel pain.

"Pour it on!" he said to Candy as he shot an ice beam at the vampire.
