Andy growled, and thrust one hand out, sending a bolt of lightning toward the master vampire, the deep purple shade of it indicating it was of unearthly origin.

Painter didn't even care that his attack hadn't worked. His job was to keep Vincent off of the others, and so far they didn't have a scratch on 'em. He did, however, try to disable Vincent, Painter's sword slashing at Vincent's leg, hoping to slow him down some.

He screamed as the attacks hit in conjunction. Standing there smoking from the lightning he grimaced. "Very well, you may have her, For now." He then transformed to mist dissapearing in the wind. MEg was not very far into the cave asleep and bound atop a four poster bed.

Icepick went further into the cave until he saw Meg tied to the bed. He then thought back to his D&D Adventures.

"I bet there's a trap or two around the bed. This is TOO easy.."

"Can any of you magic guys maybe detect if there's some kinda trap? Sorry...I've done too much RPG'ing...and now it's made me paranoid."

"Yeah, that's right, run away. And don't show your face again, Victor. You won't 'survive' our next encounter, now that we know what you are. Don't kidnap anyone else, or leave any 'mysterious disapperances', or we *WILL* come looking for you." said Painter. To make absolutely certain Victor would get the message, he left his threat painted on the cavern wall, figuring that Victor would at least come back for the furniture.

There are no traps that either Ex's extraordinary eyes or the mages senses can detect but she's been dosed with a sleep spell. The mages will find its designed to deactivate when she receives a kiss though it doesn't matter who from.

Painter's helmet retracts and Ozzy rolls his eyes.

"Why is it always something stupid like that on long-term sleep spells? At least the spell is easy enough to dispel. So, does anyone just really want to kiss Meg? Or does it fall to me?"

Icepick shrugged.

"Well...while I'm sure that my girlfried would understand...I'm sure she'd prefer if someone else kisses her."

Ozzy nodded, "I hear you, bro. I don't mind to, just figured I'd offer, you know? It's not like it counts, anyway." he said. At that moment, his cellphone went off. Taking a quick look at the caller ID, Ozzy whistled.

"Dude, she's quick on the draw. Hold up, guys, I gotta take this real quick."

With that, Ozzy answers his phone, saying, "Damn, girl, you have good timing. We *just* found my friend. I'm actually still in the cave we found her in... I can't believe I get reception in here. So what's up?"

"Might be better if I do it, as I don't even like girls. That way thers no misinterpreting it."

  Andy had slid his arms around Vic, and he said "I do that that's best, Ex.  Everyone knows you're a monogamously partnered fellow, and that the fellow you're with adores you."

"well I'm sure that can be said of anyone here 'cept for Ozzy, but, the fact that its two 'fellows' would probably help." And with that he leaned over laying a light kiss on Meg's lips.

"Go for it, dude. I would prefer to avoid exactly that." said Ozzy, nodding.

"Nah. We're just wrapping up here. The kidnapper's been defeated for now, and we just have to wake Megs up. They decided that the spell needs to be broken with a kiss, all fairytale style. Fortunately, we have someone here who can do so without anyone getting upset about it." said Ozzy into the phone.

  Meg's eyes fluttered, then opened, those midnight-sapphire orbs catching Ex as he straightened, and she said "Good to see you.  Thank you for waking me up, Ex.  I just hope Fluid isn't jealous."

Iris popped up from behind the bed that Meg had been laying on, "Hi!" She told the others, "I got in... but that's where the plan ended. Sorry. But I found all of my bugs!" She held up one of the spider-drones for inspection and it waved its legs at them, "Meg, I'm going to microchip you. Oh, wait, was I supposed to tell her or wasn't I?"

"No problem Meg. I"m sure he won't mind once he gets back. He got evaporated again."

Victoria put her arm around Andy's waist as Meg began to wake up.

Ozzy chuckled, "Heh, I prefer she knew about it. Yeah, Meg, Iris was thinking about installing a chip so we can find you, since you seem to get kidnapped a lot. And I really don't think Lo-Jack is going to do much, eh? Either way, welcome back to the land of the living. Your 'suitor', Count Chocula, turned tail and ran when we started kicking his ass."

"Nah, one of my teammates did it. Not that it would've meant anything, anyways. Meg and I are friends, but that's it. But yeah, it's been a bit crazy overall. Did you know vampires are real? I mean, I knew, I just didn't know we had one in Weston. Probably more, since this one was a 'vampire lord' or whatever. So, umm, you may want to carry some garlic or something with you, just to be safe. Just a clove in your purse should be OK." he said into the phone.

Icepick turned back to Candy.

"Are you OK? I know that this was a lot to take in...but for now, we won. We got Meg back...and you were part of it..."

  Candy let her fire-aura fade, and she nodded, admitting "Makes me glad I'm red hot when I want to be!  Keeps the vampires far, far away from me."  She hugged Icepick good and firmly though.

  Meg tilted her head, and asked Iris gently "Figured out how to shield them from the EM issues that come up with me?  Remember, magnetics are my purview, and I'm a walking warp in the fields."

Icepick hugged Candy back tightly.

"Good to know. Candy Michaels..bane of vampires everywhere. I like it!"

"Yeah Meg, you sure your not a princess and never told us? You get kidnapped more than Zelda." Ex said with a grin.

  Meg laughed, and said "Let's see, Mom's the daughter of one of the first Emperors of China, so, I suppose technically, yes, I am a Princess if you want to count royalty from an Empire that's been gone for so long most people don't even acknowledge it."

Iris shrugged, grinning, "Sure, that's easy. You just use non-magnetic conductors. And encase it in sillicon. Technically, the child locator devices out now would probably work in you, although I'd be tempted to make something a little more personalized so that I can limit the recievers able to find you."
