Victoria nodded at Andy's statement as she waited for Adri to come out.

  Andy nudged her, and said "I'm not sure she's coming out for a while, I think she's hunting, love.  She FELT hungry, but she's really hard to read, she's a bit alien."

"Then maybe we ought to have a look around. See if there's anything else around this area," Victoria said.

  Andy nodded, and gave her a kiss, after making sure he didn't have any blood on his lips.  "Just be very careful, love."

"You know me.." Victoria chuckled as she began to search around.

  "This is why I remind you to be careful.  I get nasty when the one I love is threatened."  He gave her back a rub, his talons never once scratching her, even though they were a good six inches long.  But he caught a vibe that brought a deep, rumbling growl as he took a deep breath of it.  SHE felt an odd electricity in the air too.

Victoria smiled at Andy as he did the back rub, then looked alert as she noticed him growl, and felt the electricity in the air.

  Andy said softly "There is another Demon here, somewhere, Vic.  I can FEEL it."

Victoria's hands began to glow with arcane power.

"Where is he? I'm prepared to face him.."

 Andy said softly "If I knew exactly where, I'd be trying to rip his shade out and eat him.  That's how I keep them from being threats again, you know."

Victoria stood by Andy's side in a supportive manner, waiting for their foe to reveal themselves.

  Andy rumbled, and scanned this way and that.  He said "They're hiding.  They can scent me too, and they're afraid.  I have a bit of a reputation for hunting what is considered my own kind."

Victoria nodded, staying close to Andy.
"Well..they have both of us to contend with now."

  Andy stroked her back, and said "You would just banish them, love.  I destroy them."

"Very well then...I soften 'em up...and you finish 'em off. How about that?" she said to him, waiting to see if their enemies were coming after them, or still hiding.

  Andy nodded, and said "I can work with that tactic."

"Very well...I'm ready for them," Victoria said as she conjured a Chinese broadsword made out of mystic energy, one that would surely send a demon screaming in pain if stabbed with it.

  Andy smiled, and said "Just don't miss and stick me with that thing, I'd probably swear at you in Demonic, which sounds really nasty."  His head snapped around, and he emitted a sound that could be called a growl, if one was being kind.  Some might say it sounded like he was ready to rip someone's face off!

"Steady....remember the plan. I soften them up, and you finish them off.." Victoria said as she turned towards the area where Andy was growling.

  He rumbled, and said "You don't speak Demonic, do you?"

"Define Demonic.." Victoria said. "I speak some Infernal...thankfully not enough to make a full sentence.."

  He gave her an affectionate stroke of his tail, the sharp parts not touching her, and said "That's a 'no', because if you did, you would  be highly offended, and I'm not translating.  Because I'm quite ready to rip him to gobbets right now."

Victoria chuckled briefly, waiting for their enemy to reveal themselves.

"Come out, come out..wherever you are."

  A snarl was all the advance notice she had before something slammed into her from behind, and that armor that Andy had given her proved it's worth.  The claws didn't slash through her, but skittered across the surface.

That was all Victoria needed, feeling the slash of the demon's claws. In mere seconds she slashed at the demonic attacker with her conjured blade.
