The old man snickered.

"Very well....are you truly willing to sacrifice everything? I sure am...because I know that Black Hand will resurrect me in the glorious future that he has planned. Can you say the same? We'll find out..."

Centrifuge then closed his eyes, as the wall began to fall on them.

Leo waited for the gravity bearing weight to ease enough for him to him. He wasnt going to kill this man he needed someone to question someone to bring to the old arch mage.

Wounded, Leo could feel his ribs, and they were definitely broken as he made his way over to the dying Centrifuge. Blood ran down both sides of the villain's mouth as he ebbed closer towards death.

"You have....already....lost..."

As Leo crawled forward he grabbed the old man by the scruffs of his shirt.

"NO... you cant die how am I loosing i have defeated all his minions...tell me where he is you fool! Your not going to be revived your his pawn he is only thinking of himself." he stopped and gasped as the pain in his sides and coughed up some blood.

Leo soon blacked out his eyes closing fading into darkness

Before Leo blacked out, Centrifuge was able to impart these words to him.

"Look at you...The Destroyer of Lives...and Worlds...you've become that which you hate....a stone-cold shadowy killer...As for where he is, do not worry...he will find YOU.."

And he breathed his last as Leo went unconscious.

Leo stirred and slowly rose up and stared around at the destroyed lair that was once his second home. He glanced at the old man and slowly crawled towards the old man using his powers to move himself even more since his injuries had piled up over the past few days.

It seemed that death did not take the Black Hand's minion as Leo had thought. For in the rubble, the man known as Centrifuge was stirring slowly, trying to make his way out of the rubble that he was under.

Leo raised his hand and gathered the shadows forming a prison to keep the foe trapped in a dense like block that wouldnt crush him but would keep him from moving and allow him to breath still.

Blood ran down from the side of Centrifuge's mouth as he stirred, now noticing the prison he found himself in.

"You realize...your victory....means nothing, right?"

Leo laughed as slowly his vision began to blur as he struggled to remain conscious.

"Maybe so but a victory goes with out cost. Your realize your failure means nothing to him you are his pawn your expendable."

"It is better to be the right hand of the devil....than in his path..." Centrifuge replied.

Soon the air around them began to crackle, almost like electricity.

Leo glanced around not sure what to expect with this strange old man. this old man had nothing to loose what was Leo suppose to do.

The air seemed to crackle with energy, as a swirling vortex soon materialized in the street. People were running everywhere out of its path.

Soon, several miniature shadow creatures began pouring out in great numbers.

Then...HE arrived.

The Black Hand.

Though now he was immersed in full shadow, his dark power evident for all to see. His power seemed to resonate all around them.

"Now Leo...now the end game begins...and this world will soon be merged with the land of Eternal Night.."

Leo new their was only one way he would full heal and it was not a good idea nor was it his favorite choice of paths to take in plans. He slowly stood up and spread his arms wide as if for a big hug and when he closed his hands into tight fists the shadow like creatures stopped moving. When Leo pulled his arms into a closed hug he changed not into a black shadow like creature but into a swirl of black and white energy. He opened his eyes and when he waved his hand a white wave shot forth slicing through the shadows absorbing them making the wave a spiral energy attack.

A fine mist began to fall over the area, and within seconds, a blindfolded short-haired man wearing a traditional dark grey Shaolin uniform with the tabbard of a dragon soon emerged from the mist.

Sensing the shadow creatures, The Mist Dragon began to engage them as Leo executed his attack.

A swirling green light soon followed the mist, and out leaped a dark-haired woman wearing a jade-colored mid riff top (bikini-ish) with a high collar and bikini bottom, a ninja-type mask, and jade knee length boots. Soon, a jade staff could be seen in her hands.

Without another word, she soon began to engage the shadow creatures.

The wave hit Black Hand full on, staggering the newly emerged madman. But only briefly.

Regaining his senses, he saw the newly emerged Mist Dragon and Nagah's Fang enter the fray against his shadow creatures. And soon he began to laugh. It was a dark laugh, a laugh devoid of any humor. It was a laugh that shivered oneself to their soul, and he then pointed above.

The portal, which heralded his arrival, was slowly getting larger. And the skies were getting darker.

Leo new what he had to do he faded into a white flash and appeared near blackhand and used his swirling black and white energy to grapple blackhand.
"You fail to realize to courage of humanity and the will this city these people have to live! No matter where you go and what evil deeds you do I will be their to stop you as will the heroes of the people! You wanna see the eternal night you want to see true evil! I shoul help you fall into madness its time you saw the eternal night and faded into it !"

Mist Dragon and Nagah's Fang are able to engage the shadow creatures, even as other lesser known heroes emerge to deal with the onslaught of the shadow hordes as well.

Leaving Leo to face off with Black Hand. One more time.

The energy grappled Black Hand, but he continued to laugh. "Don't you see, my wayward apprentice? Even if you do kill me...which is highly unlikely...there will be someone to take my place. There will ALWAYS be someone..whether that is you or someone else....who can say?"

Leo then did gathered the swirling energy and did a powerful upper cut and spun on his heel and slammed his fist down causing a pillar of swirling energy to shoot up all around Blackhand.

"Someone may take your place that is fine we will confront it all I care is that its not another you I wont rest till you die my fallen mentor its time you stepped down and died!"

"Then we will die together!" Black Hand said as the energy swirled around him. "You still don't understand, do you? I AM THE END OF TIME!"

Soon, he began to utter an ancient tongue, one not heard in a very long time. And they both soon found themselves whisked away elsewhere.

Mist Dragon turned his head to the side as the strange energy seemed to envelop both of the combatanta.

"Such...darkness...I have not seen its like for a long time.." he said as he finished off several of the shadow minions, their power waning with their master's departure.

"Indeed...and you and I have lived long enough to see some dark things, Ju-Long," Nagah's Fang added, finishing several of the shadow minions off with a whirl of her jade-colored staff.

"But where....where have they gone?"

"I....I do not know," Ju-Long replied, still perplexed by this sudden turn of events. "But...if you're here Adrika....something must be about to happen. And if it is something related to Shangri-La, or anything having to do with the Balance, then we must seek out the Champion of Light. I also have a promise to keep to a young girl who has been immensely wronged in her life."

He looked off into the distance.

"If you need me, I will be at the manor of Oswald Gysbourne. His is a very hard house to miss, even for someone like me. It is good to see you, Adrika, but I also know that if we are bringing former and current Champions together, something big must be about to happen. Until I see you next.."

And with that, he became the mist that was his namesake, making his way back to his temporary lodging place.

"Likewise, Ju-Long. It is agreeable to see you after all this time. I will also search for the Champion of Light, though the reason why I have been summoned here is also a mystery."

In a jade flash of light, Nagah's Fang soon once again became Adrika Patel, adorned in her traditional clothing. She needed a moment to collect herself before beginning the search anew for the reason she had been alerted to this place.
