Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

Just a couple things, if possible:

I don't know if I already mentioned it but the Budo-Kai Dojo and maybe an apartment for Lucas...

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

NPC: Richard Boyd
Assorted others to be named later
Location: Mayor's House

I intend to start out by continuing the storyline from Rodger's background, with his delivery of the suits to their intended victims/players/volunteers, and Richard's first lessons in clowning. Where it goes from there, we'll see.

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

The only non-mundane NPCs I'd need are

Oswald Gysbourne: A gruff, stoic, and proper man in his late 60's, with a long white beard and spectacles rimmed with gold wire. He is Ozzy's grandfather, and a wizard. He favors the traditional 'magical gibberish + funny hand signs + eye of newt, wing of bat = magic' style of spellcasting. His specialty is divination magic, though he's very old, and has a lot of spells for other purposes. He's used his divinations to rise in the world, becoming the founder of a goodly-sized law firm, "Gysbourne and Farris".

David "Dave" G.:  Ozzy's 36-year-old uncle, who doesn't use his full name because he doesn't want to be associated with his stuffy, poncy father and his stuffy, brown-nosing brother, not to mention all his other relatives. He specializes in enchantment magic, using his singing to create subtle mental 'nudges' in his audiences' mind, usually 'Tip your waitress' or something else innocent. He can sing without doing this, of course, but he doesn't really have much talent outside of his specialty. He gets by getting together his band called 'Nostalgia: The Mid Life Crisis Project' and doing covers at local bars.

Then there's the mundanes:
Michael & Gina Gysbourne: Ozzy's parents, who don't really know about the magical side of their family. Michael works in the family law firm, and Gina is a happy housewife. Michael is 40, and Gina *claims* to be 35. They love their son, though they think he's misguided and that Dave has 'corrupted' him. Which, technically, is kind of true.

Michaela: Ozzy's little sister, Michaela is just seven years old. They were expecting another boy, and so had already decided on the name 'Michael', when the newest addition to the family came out... lacking a certain something. So, they added an 'a' to the end of it, and went on with their lives. She takes after her Daddy, whom she has wrapped around her little finger. She annoys the ever-loving crap out of her older brother at times, but if something bad happens to her, expect Ozzy to rush to her defense.

I'm perfectly willing and able to play any or all of these as neccessary, I just didn't know which NPCs you'd want to be GM played, and which I should play.

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

Having a thread for Zeke's Hideout, to double as the house above would be nice, but not needed :)

I think that we need some seedy bar thread where the dregs of Weston City society hang out.

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

I would like to remind everyone of the existance of this thread.

Also concerning. Most suppiorting cas tsuch as your family or other non pcs can be run by you if you so choose just let me know if you'd rather have someone played by the gm. NPC requests ar emostly for plot important characters and/or villains you'd like to face off against however I've decided if you have a villain you'd like to see in game please pm me instaead of using this thread.

Thank you.
Justice.

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

Should the school I teach at (James Watson Elementary) have a separate thread from the University, or should I just play it by ear?

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

I don't know how much of the time I'll be posting at work (in character). So, hmm.
Maybe we should have the separate thread for it, just in case something happens.

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

Thread request:
May I have a thread for the foster home?

NPC request:
I can play the NPCs if you like, but the foster home has... well, several people. I can make most of them up as I go along, but there are a few that are kinda important. The Matron (head counselor) at the home, Iris' group counselor, and Chuck are the most important. I would be happy to play them if you like, provided it's okay by you.

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

Can we get a thread for intergroup messages?  Just so that I don't have to text in several threads.  Plus I'm not sure where the rest of the Legacy has ended up.  :)

I like that idea.  Perhaps a thread for telepathic links messages and one for phone messages.

Re: thread/npc/storyline requests.

Okay, so Ozzy and I have been talking, and we thought that it might be fun to make Chuck a para, a wizard to be quite exact. Not an uber one. We thought, you know, normal magical ability but no real guarantee or flashiness, like minor transubstantiation (i.e. Chuck wants pudding, school has popsicles. They open popsicles for lunch and it's full of pudding. School assumes it's a delivery mistake and serves pudding.), minor mind control (i.e. Bobby wants to beat Chuck up. Chuck thinks REALLY hard that he doesn't want Bobby to find him. Bobby, for some reason, thinks that Chuck is going to pass by the gym when he is actually passing by the Cafeteria NOT the gym.), and that sort of thing. Subtle, easy to mistake as coincidence... so nobody knows. Obviously not particularly useful in combat, but we thought it might be fun. Especially with Chuck's learning curve.

Can I get a junkyard thread please?

Let's just say that I have a 'crushing' need for one.  :)
