Clarissa smiled, and said softly "That's a nice statistic, because one would presume that the ones ending in death were hopefully long and happy."

Ozzy smirked and hugged her, saying, "I dunno. With the way some old folks are... Well, let's just say I have a feeling we'll never get like that."

  She giggled, and kissed his throat again, then whispered in his ear "If we're lucky, neither one of us will get old for a very, very, very long time."

"Heh, I don't mind," Fiona said with a chuckle. "I'm pretty friendly, I think... and quite weird. The last few hours, I've done - and been - some things that I'd never even imagined before today."

  "If this is an example I guess then you've had either a very boring imagination, or I missed all the crazy stuff." Who hasn't thought about wings or flying before, after all.

  Well, maybe someone with a fear of heights.  But then they'd still think about it and be all like OH NOOOOO.

  "Though so far the friendly claims seem legit."

"Well, of course I've dreamed of flying before. But then there's this..." She raised her arms above her head and twisted them around each other - and around, and around, and around, until they looked like a pair of snakes with hands instead of heads, each as long as she was tall. With a soft giggle, she uncoiled them again and let them droop to the ground before pulling them back to their normal length. At the same time, her neck stretched until she was at eye level with Matt. "Being made of rubber was never part of my imagination."

  Matt nods,  "The flexible look seems to be getting more popular these days.  Of course, you've got an actual bone structure when you do it compared to me and Archeirae."  Well, that and they both had less stretching habits.  "Just watch out for ceiling fans, your one weakness."

Fiona blinked, and blushed a little. "Um, I wasn't trying to copy you or anything... you can stretch too?" she asked, sounding both incredulous and curious.

  "Oh please, we've got so many healers, spell slingers, immortals and assorted that copying is hardly an insult, or even deliberate most of the time.  Don't worry about it."  He stands up from his roof edge perch, and shrugs.  "I haven't done much stretching for the most part, still seem to have some old habits."  So far as maintaining a generally human shape could be called a habit.

  "The Ponytail of Doom on the other hand, much more easy." That said, his headtail curls out and weaves into the general shape of Balloon animal doggy.

Fiona's eyes grew wide as she watched - a little bit wider even than should normally be possible, it seemed. As it became clear what Matt was doing, she laughed brightly. "That's neat! I'm... pretty sure I can stretch my entire body, but I don't know if I can move my hair like that." She closed her eyes for a moment and focused, but all she seemed to manage was making her hair grow until it was hanging down to her bottom.

  Fiona could no doubt top it, but Matt upped the irreverent bar "Stimpy! You EEEDIOT!" Yes, the 'Balloon' Dog was doing a Ren Hoek impression.

  "Well, to be fair there's a lot more to get tangled up with Hair than there is for a skinny xenomorph tail.  Though being your own hair stylist is probably more practical anyways."

Fiona blinked, and her attnetion abruptly snapped back to Matt's headtail. "Did that thing just talk? Or are you practicing your ventriloquism?" Her hair retracted to its normal length (to avoid tangling), but she stretched her neck to be face-to-'face' with the tail and inspect it more closely.

  Matt shrugs (again) as the head tail uncurls and goes back to it's waist length average. "Nah, just me doing accurate impressions.  Not like I have a mouth, or vocal cords.  My body is just sort of a physical placeholder for... Whatever I am these days, as far as I can tell.  I look like I'm breathing and most of my words come from the usual spot out of habit, and to avoid the uncanny valley more than otherwise."

  Ace Ventura is jealous of Matt's capacity to actually talk out his rear.  Sometimes super powers are dumb.

"So... this is a kind of disguise," Fiona summed it up. "Um, if your voice doesn't actually come from your vocal cords... where does it come from? And... what do you really look like? If that's not too private or anything..."

  Matt says "What you see is what you get, my voice, my senses, even my body just is.  You look like something you are not when you feel like it, I use a hologram to look like a person I'm not in public."  Still, having a stock photo for a public face was more comfortable than one last seen in an obituary.  For now.

  "What is a voice from nowhere compared to wings, anyway." He gestures down at the house he is standing upon.  "For any of us to consider eachother strange is like living tissue paper house throwing frag grenades, to exaggerate an old line.  No offense taken regardless.  You know about as much as I do about me these days."

"Sorry." Fiona chuckled with embarrassment. "I'm still pretty new to all this. Back home where I come from, I went through my entire life so far without ever meeting a parahuman in person or catching more than a glimpse of one, other than on TV or the like. So I'm bound to ask some stupid questions every now and then. And around here, wings aren't that odd either... when we were eating cake earlier, I suddenly sprouted two extra arms, without even meaning to. That felt odd."

He grinned and said, "Yeah. Hopefully not. And I definitely don't want you getting old without me. One way or the other..."

  She smiled, and then whispered in his ear "I think it's about time for me to go looking for thje measuring tape, what do YOU think?"

Ozzy grinned and said, "Yeah, we do need to get a head start on that."

With that, he set her down gently, giving her a quick peck before she ran off to 'find the measuring tape'.

  She gave him a pat on the seat before she giggled, and bounced off toward the house.  Fluffy tail flirting at him with a wave as she headed toward the kitchen door.

Ozzy grinned and watched her bounce towards the house, before moving to mingle with his other guests for a bit.

  Meg asked him quietly "Want me to set all your gift cards in a bag and park them in your den, Ozzy?  Mom and I made it as a present for you.  It's a nice, cozy room with a fireplace, a big, comfortable chair magically upsized to fit you, and it's got a couch, big soft rug on the floor in front, and it has a door that leads into your bedroom if you like, since it's adjacent to your private room and bath."

  Matt nodded in regards to Fiona "While a lot of paras seem to have no trace of subtlety unless it's 'use my powers to hide me', even I'm easily overlooked unless someone was actively seeking me out."  'Got change?', sometimes better than a mask at keeping people from looking at your face.  Though a combination of night time and a hoodie probably helped matters there.

  "I can understand sudden unexpected additions to the anatomy being a shock, hopefully nobody said to you 'Don't think about how they all work at once' at the time."

Ozzy grinned and said, "Sure, that'd be fine, thanks! And wow. Sounds like we've got our own little house within the house, almost. You guys really are spoiling us!"

  Meg chuckled, and said "With the house being the magically contained equialent of the Forbidden City, I have room to let you do that.  Only thing you really don't have is a kitchen, and you're stuck with the big kitchen staying communal."
