Re: Police and the portal.

Meg, Mittens made a portal directly from the Café area to the police station. I was on the other side of it with the regular cops, but had no idea what could be perceived from the police side.

Would her portal be aiding ease in police communication via radio, or causing more havoc?

Causing more havoc right now, there's a jamming signal messing up all RF in the Apokryphos area, not that anyone there has paid attention to the police band yet, so the portal is permitting the jamming signal to hit the main 911 switchboards too.

Could the neighborhood friendly Cyberkinetic change that? :P

Well, you could if you were down there.  Right now you're up on the ships.

Question: Is my magic-based mindmail system also being affected by the jamming, or can Rodger and his android counterparts still communicate that way?

If the jammer is on the ship I could find it or have a relay signal go through my system to balance out the loss of connection. That's entirely up to you.

Magic still works fine.  The jammer itself is a small, portable one, not on the ships, so you have to be where it is to find it.  You can't fix the jamming if you're on the ship, because they dropped the jammer off when they reached the ground.

Dang. Okay, nevermind then. (Pesky aliens)

How large is the jammer that Daystar is looking for?

The Jammer is a rectangular box about the size of a standard business briefcase, weight is approximately 40 pounds.  Daystar will be more than capable of picking it up and carting it off.  There is a handle on the side, like a briefcase handle.

I have some questions regarding scope, setting and power level but as I have just started rereading the Wild Cards series, I am pretty interested.

Justice is the husband, Truth is the wife, and she wouldn't let me name the baby American Way :)

Yeah, I think I'm good to go with Regenerating Skeleton + Intangibility.  I'll work on an app during the week.

It got so quiet again...

Real life, most likely, has taken our time.

I am, however, looking forward to posting in-game once again. (Our wonderful GMs and I have been in conversation about a good jumping point). And I'm looking forward to interacting with both heroes both old and new :)
