Trying to remember where Justice's Facebook page is to check on them... cannot seem to relocate it right now. Hmm.

Working full time at Honda keeps me pretty wiped out, and Justice is full time Daddy to a 14 month old little adorable terror named Fred.  Anyway, you happened to catch me on a Friday night when I still have enough energy to post.  Also, send thankful prayers to whatever gods you worship, being diabetic nearly killed me today.  Literally.

I've ended up in the hospital from hypoglycemia before (glucose was down to about 35), myself, but never from excessive blood sugar. I can sympathize with diabetic problems, wuf.

Re: OOC The Quarterly

My glucometer read me at 20.  Someone else I knew coded when his sugar hit 17, paramedics had to resuscitate him twice that time, so yes, it was a close call. And I never lost consciousness, although I was pretty shaky and I knew I was having a problem.  My supervisor wouldn't let me off the line long enough to check my sugar before it got that bad.  So they had to shut the line off instead when it got that far.  Then the nurses at work had trouble getting my sugar to come up and stay up.  My fingers look like pincushions.

Re: OOC The Quarterly

Even without considering all the other good reasons to stick around?

A surprisingly rare for one is being allowed to run with a light shrug explaining your existence long term (both in and out of game) in a world with heaps of background lore.

In a genre where where immunity from anything to mind control or alien parasites outside of these games gets me "But it ruins my plot if you're immune to... I mean..."

Being immune to background lore is a real mind blower to get on top.  It is the free casio keyboard they throw in with your family trip to Disney Land.

Not dead, just sort of waiting on player replies and Real Life to quit trying to make me *not* alive.  Which keeps us all, for obvious reasons, running.  Feel free to post, and we can kick things into life.

Just think of this as the cliffhanger for the last season while company executives consider whether or not to renew the TV series.  :)

Let me see... I'm at the café, aren't I? And Meg just stepped out via a portal.

Hmm. Villainy on the sly, or order a bite to eat and do some idle chatter?

Re: OOC The Quarterly

Okay everybody, the museum seen is just about wrapped up.

Truth and I will have to discuss some plot points for the timeskip (we had already done that, but I've mostly forgotten by now.) I also plan on adding more info to the setting threads, so look out for that.

Feel free to post amongst yourselves while we work on that, otherwise we'll try and get something new up as soon as possible.

In personal news I should be starting a job on the 15th, and will likely be extremely exhausted (partially because it's manual labor, partially because it'll be my first time working since first going on disability ten years ago) so things will likely continue to be slow for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for your continued patience
Justice.

Re: OOC The Quarterly

Ok, the museum scene is now fully wrapped up. The heroes can disperse and do whatever they like with their 'downtime' until Truth and I have had time to plan. I will let everyone know when it is time to skip forward.

Also Roger, if your looking for something to do at the cafe, I could always have an npc show up. Don probably wouldn't return just yet but Ethan or Bill could stop in.
