Re: OOC The Quarterly

I'm down for whatever you have in mind. I may have to revamp my chara(s) for the reboot(s).

Was going to have the aliens back in space at this point. Matt could have spent five years in space.

If that includes me, I'm down. Maybe Matt and I could share that place. I don't remember who I was in the other game.

I'm going to tune Jared a little but he's definitely not a 'living on a spaceship' type of guy.

Re: OOC The Quarterly

That suggestion was for matt, as he was already palling around with the aliens, and would probably fit in better there than on earth.

Re: OOC The Quarterly

Regardless of who came along or if it was just Matt, I got the impression it would be more sorting out what was done during the time skip, rather than an active thread.

That said, Matt spending that time out in space sounds like a great way to have him have done a lot of ridiculous over the top stuff while most people back on Earth still have basically never heard of him.

Helps that by then, he'd be more comfortable with himself to return to Earth under his own power if need be as well, if you wanted to shuffle off the Space Men into the background full time.

I'm still around!ish.  I'm pitching a new character and if that doesn't work out, we'll just have to figure something else out.

Ideally soon we'll be writing with each other again!

Re: OOC The Quarterly

Exactly, just an explanation as to what Matt's been up to in the interim, he certainly looks alien enough to get along fine. He can just make up some bullshit story about being the last of his kind that he loosely based off of Doctor Who.

Ok, Dane Sinclair is up and ready.

FYI, my son and I are taking a cruise to Scotland and Ireland, leaving out of Amsterdam on Tuesday. We'll have internet access but less time, so I'll be posting if the game is ready for us by then.

So... can we post? Dane, aka "Rampage", is ready!

You're the only one done at this point, so please be patient while the rest of the players (and me) finish putting things together.

Question:
Rodger was 46 when the game first started. With the various timeskips and events, what age would he be now? 51, 52, older?

Re: OOC The Quarterly

probably more like 54, game time went on for about two years after this games start, which started six months after the last games end, which probably lasted about six months.

So it's been 7 years since the beginning of this game, and 8 since the public emergence of paras.

Okay, so I need to push my estimates of the boys' ages up a little as well. Thank you.

In reply to Justice (msg # 237):

On that issue, Lina's age should be different also but not by that much physically because she's lived for eons (yes she's immortal). So 8 years from physical appearance from when she started in this game or 5? I'm confused.

Re: OOC The Quarterly

I'm not sure at what point Lina joined within timeline. It would be less than eight as she wasn't in the first game, and she didn't show up in the beginning of THIS game so lets go with 6.

Re: OOC The Quarterly

I'm updating my description, and stated the boys to be 15 (Harold) and 12 (John), with only John exhibiting any inherited powers.

Rodger's "official" codename is Rodger-Ra the Ever-Wicked, which is the black mana form of his Ancient Spirits of Evil spell.

The most important aspect of agelessness is being able to take advantage of Comic Book Time while everybody else has to update their drivers license photos every other timeskip.

I don't think that problem quite applies to androids, either.

According to your description, she was 12, so now she'd be about 17 or 18, depending on how much time had passed in game pre-timeskip.

Ethan Sharpe is your boss. He's an immortal born in the 1600s and was a member of the top secret ww2 superteam the secret defenders. His wife Lorelei is a sorceress who occasionally does consultant work for them. Everyone else is mainly a background npc.
