Re: OOC The Quarterly
Just wanted to point out, for those that are not aware, as a founding member (and former leader) of The Legacy, Dragon Fist is one of the most famous superheroes in the world. He was known to be a "moral inspiring type" before going all grimdark after the legacy disbanded spending less time in the public eye.

In short, meeting him is a BIG deal and Daystar has balls of steel for giving him orders.

Re: OOC The Quarterly
Daystar isn't native to this dimention, right? So it would be like visiting Mars and learning about their local legends, bumping into one, and then giving him a command.

....yep! Balls of steel! :D

Can't wait for how interactions go with Dragon Fist after the incident settles down.

Antoinette, is, well... you'll have to excuse her for acting like Dragon Fist is just another para. She kinda treats everyone equally because of the way her brain is wired. (On the bright side, this also means Antoinette admires him a lot) :D Might be refreshing for Dragon Fist that someone wants to treat him like anyone else, but I guess I'll have to find out! He'll at least have a fan girl out of Mittens.

She's also an absent-minded professor, so it might simply be that the fact Dragon Fist is fighting with us hasn't even caught up with her yet. XD

Meanwhile, Maverick IS star-struck, but I haven't posted him yet because I haven't decided if he's there and spying, or not.

You got that right!  =^.^=

As for why Mits hasn't freaked out yet, I'll use the excuse of "Hasn't been on Earth for the past five years.  And when she left Paras were supposed to be a brand new thing as far as the public eye was concerned," for why Mits wasn't aware of Dragon Fist being super famous.  In fact, this is the very sort of thing that prompted me to chose Outer Spaaace as my time-skip adventure.  'Cause player not knowing the who's-who and the what's-what for the past five years lines up perfectly with character not knowing.

As for why she isn't yet rambling about how amazing Lifelight, Seraph, and Daystar are, well...  She's getting to that.  ;)  Matt took priority because he's the one that got teamed up with Dragon Fist.

Re: OOC The Quarterly
@Mittens Df would have been famous before hand. He's basically one of the first superheroes, Along with Peregrine, Mirage, Hotwire, Hunter, and Enigma (three of which are dead) You (and others) can find info on the Legacy in the Notable names thread link to a message in this game , and other characters in the settings thread link to a message in this game both of which are recommended reading for EVERY player, though I'm still working on adding the rest of the characters (including villains) into the first one.

@Antoinette Daystar did mention doing research and there was a bit about his AI giving him info on the Legacy in his premiere in the cafe. It does fit the character, it just amuses me as it's the basically like if Vigilante or Flamebird walked right into a crime scene with Superman or Batman there and just immediately took charge.

Remember Maverick is now capable of actively participating so don't feel limited to have him just spying (Unless he's just waiting for a sneak attack) he has his own 'super-tech' and has been trained by Mr. Hurt and his title of "world's most dangerous man' is NOT hyperbole.

Re: OOC The Quarterly
I think there was an old post where Hotwire was ranting about it a bit in a not happy way, unless you meant as a player, though I mostly picked him because it amused me.

The casting for the Legacy Movies are as Follows

Peregrine: Charlize Theron

Dragon Fist: Jet Li

Hunter: Bruce Willis

Mirage: Scarlett Johansson

Enigma: Brad Pitt

Ranting in a bit non happy way is Hotwire's natural state.  Or it was at the time.

As the player, I like it :)

Too bad those dooshbags at Death Battle said that Mario is better than Sonic. Dafraq do they know?!

I got plenty more speedster puns on the way, including but not limited to the Incredibles, the Flash, X-Men and Sonic. Btw, SA2 was my favorite Sonic Game. The music was killer!

You know, I had that sound in mind but then I had the "sonic losing rings" sound just incase the mummies actually had brains and not let him play pinball with them. Still waiting for the GM to saw how far I go with this Mummy Domino Pinball Game.

Re: OOC The Quarterly
As the Museum scene wraps up we'll be having some 'free roleplay' where the heroes can disperse, converse, and do other 'not actiony' things. It is currently late afternoon, between 4 and 7.

After that's been going on a while we'll skip forward to late at night and we'll have some more action scenes (hopefully enough players can choose between)

I have commitment issues.  Part of why I went with a teleporter so I could get away with being in more than one scene at a time.  ;)

That looks awesome!  I played the original City of Heroes and also played through City of Villains for a bit.  Though i stopped shortly after WoW was released.
