In spite of how absurd he is himself, Matt is always assuming people have more toys than him.

In and out of character, Matt sees a guy making constructs with a lantern ring, Matt assumes "Spaceballs the Flamethrower" is an option.

To be fair, the last time I played a Green Lantern somewhere else, I got shouted down for trying to make constructs of bone eating giant slug monsters from a B grade sci-fi movie to fight a bone monster. )  Until the GM instead complained I was taking too long making small tiny things and let me overkill one-shot them with a Battletech Atlas Mech.

So it's relatable to wonder what exactly you can or can't do with a lantern ring in play by post.

Hehe, it also depends how 'uber' you're playing the ring.  I tend towards the 'Lower end' where it's basically just willpower = Physical force type deal.

He's been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer.  Tumor is 2 inches long.

With the consensus seeming to be 'Do it', I'm looking forward to my next post as Kevin.  I'm suitably inspired and have a good post forming in my mind but when I get home I just let my brain rest from work and stress and just lose the 'oomph' to post.

Update on my uncle.  Not going well.  Sparing the details, I will be surprised if he manages to see Christmas.
