Meg said "You should definitely move in here then, May.  The house is actually about the size of the Forbidden City . . . on the inside."  Her amused tone was clear.

She smiled at the tiny oriental woman. "Thank you. That will make it easier for him to finish his schooling, I don't want him to drop out because I'm pregnant"

  Meg chuckled, and said "Especially since this is basically a 'work free' zone unless one WANTS a job."

May smiled even wider as she started glowing again. She apparently didn't realize she kept turning into a lightbulb. "Thank you."

  Tim smiled, and kissed May's hand as he said softly "You're glowing again, my love."

May blinked in surprise, the glow faded as she looked at him. "I'm what now?"

  Tim kissed her, and said softly "You glow when you're happy love, literally GLOW.  It's lovely."  He slid his arms around her, low enough that he didn't pin her wings, and kissed her again, loving how she felt when he kissed her.

May smiled shyly. "Oh wow, I uh, didn't notice. Thats wierd, I wonder why I started doing all this stuff all of a sudden?"

  Tim smiled as he said "I don't know, but I'll enjoy it."

May smiled as she hugged him. "Oh I know you will. You just love this weird stuff."

  Tim laughed, and said "Guilty as charged there."

  "You glow because you are happy, and when Angels are happy, they spread light."  The person speaking had golden hair, and dazzlingly blue eyes that looked unearthly when one looked into them, and perfect features on a sculpted body clad in a western shirt and jeans.  He even had western boots on and a pair of revolvers on his hips.

May turned quickly to look at the strange man suddenly in the room. "Who are you? Angel....? I think the wings might have you confused..."

  He smiled, and said "Oh no, I'm not at all confused, daughter.  Your wings are unmistakeable."

May stared in befuddlement at the stranger. "Daughter?! Who are you?"

  He swept a bow, and said "My name is Araniel, and you, young woman, are my daughter.  I can tell by the wings."  He slowly spread his own, as they simply appeared from thin air, and she could see they matched her own.

May's jaw dropped when she saw the wings. "You.... You saved mama all those years ago? But.... Why did you leave?"

  He gave her a smile, and said softly "Because sometimes, a person needs to understand how strong they are.  There are limits to what a single person can do, but I could feel your mother's inner strength, and I knew she could get there, to be able to do anything she really, really wanted, if she had a good reason."

"I don't understand why didn't you stay with us. Why didn't I have a daddy?" A single tear streamed down her cheek as she asked that last question, her voice choking up."

  He stepped close, and said softly "There is only one of me, and I couldn't stay put, there is so much to fight in this world.  I try to protect as many people as I can from the evil things that escape from Hell, and even from some of humankind's own evils, but I always wondered how you were doing.  Will you forgive me for not being there then?"

May stayed silent a long time before she nodded and then ran forward hugging her father.

  He hugged her, and wrapped his wings around her, then said "I can get away with being a little more open about some things now, and I hope you don't mind me being around more."

May smiled as her wings wrapped around her father.  "You have good timing, your going to be a grandfather."

  He smiled, and said softly "I sensed them come into existence, and I had to come see.  I wasn't sure you'd ever come into your own power, lovely girl."

She smiled as she slowly unfurled her wings and stepped back taking Tim's hand. "This is Tim my fiancée and the father of my twins."
