  Meg was keeping the map updated in realtime, and she answered {{Looks like it.  Feel free to give him a hand.  I'm covered, aside from my regen, Mr. Witness is here with me, he's a sniper with tranq darts.}}

Dragon Fist nodded, then made his way to where Icepick was engaged with the guard he was fighting with, executing a flying kick at the guard.

Re: Tzarina's compound

Icepick freezes the gun in the mans hands as he's staring at his useless firearm Dragonfist sneaks up and knocks him out.

One guard turned to watch behind them while the other went to inspect the crate. As he got close the crate suddenly shifted into some kind of tentacle monster grabbing the guard and tossing him against a wall. The other spun at the cries of his partner and got hit with a lazer from the creatures mouth before he could fire. The man fell to the ground leaving the heroes to enter the warehouse.

Re: Tzarina's compound

"All according to plan..." 2k thought to himself with a grin.

After the two guards were KO'd, the mimic turns into a giant ball of energy and dissipates.

2k then moves towards the warehouse but he waits for the others to arrive. After all, the Special Crimes Unit didn't fill him in who would be helping him. They just said, "Others will arrive but when we do not know." 2k had enough trust in the SCU to know that when they said he was getting help, he was getting help. In contrast with TTA who wasn't upfront. Then again, TTA agents were like bounty hunters... They worked alone and if they did have a partner, they had their OWN agenda within the mission. Sometimes it wasn't on the same page with the other.

"Maybe I SHOULD let myself be known to my allies. Hmm... I wonder if Dragon Fist is on this mission." 2k thought as an energy visor appeared over his eyes.

The visor made all the buildings look like outlines but showed all bio signs as they would to the human eye. 2k saw Dragon Fist near another guy who had the power of ice. He looked above and scanned the rooftops and found Meg, Mr. Witness, and Knight.

2k made his way to Dragon Fist and Icepick. When he got near them around the corner, the energy visor faded out to where his eyes were visible again.

Re: Tzarina's compound

Though 2K was invisible to normal visual means, Dragon Fist could still see his chi signature.

"I'm grateful for the assist, 2K. Welcome to the war," Dragon Fist said with a slight chuckle.

At that moment, 2k's figure faded into view. He was leaning up against the wall behind them with his arms folded. He had a smirk on his face.

"Your welcome. Glad to be here among allies!"

Dragon Fist nodded at 2K, then looked upwards for a moment.

All right Meg...looks like the outer perimeter is dealt with. Can you give us a quick sitrep on the ones inside?

"See if you can can find them, 2K," Dragon Fist replied. "They got a hold of some important documents and we need to get them back as soon as possible."

"Good deal Meg...see if you can pinpoint them then. 2K is going to try his unique brand of tracking down here."

Re: Tzarina's compound

2k nodded yet he seemed to stay there for a few seconds before pulling out a circular security camera.

2k then placed the camera on the ground before him and stepped away.

"This camera will show us how far back they were here. It can only go as far back as an hour. Us TTA agents call it Temporal Imaging."

After explaining, 2k started emitting a light blue aura. the 5 cameras started glowing with him. An energy whirling sound started creeping. Faint outlines of the badguys started appearing. No sound just yet.

2k got this strange feeling that perhaps the person he and Dragon Fist were after was near seeing the imaging is taking longer than usual to work.

Dragon Fist focused on 2K's chi, but it was difficult to track him since he was moving so fast. He then waited fo the time-traveller to come back and make him aware of his findings.

In reply to 2kReturner (msg # 43):

The inside of the warehouse was some kind of makeshift armory/ planning station. There wete several maps of Weston, tables covered with weapons, and a pile of burn't papers in a corner. In one corner of the room was a hatch which not only appeared to have been welded from the inside but the handle was lying next to it. 2Ks cameras showed only static.

Re: Tzarina's compound

"I found you now Lunningham." Othniel thought as he grinned evilly.

The static went on for a while. The energy whirling suddenly sounded choppy until...

BOOOOOMMMM!! Each camera exploded like a lightbulb blowing up in its socket. Othniel leaped backward, then shielded himself from the explosion and debris flying from the camera in front of him. However, only the camera in front of Othniel shot out shrapnel. The others just burned out but sounded like they would've shot out fragments.

"Dragonfist... The one to whom we've been looking for all this time is with them." Othniel announced after letting down his forcefield once everything was in the clear. Then he grumbled, "Dang monster booby trapped my imaging equipment with his jammer!"

Re: Tzarina's compound

"Yes, it's often my enemies try to leave me a temporal "booby trap" in ending my life. *sigh* so is the life of a crime fighter." 2k paused at remembering those times. "Too many minions they say he has. It complicates matters when 1) The guy your searching for has ties in multiple universes and 2) Your boss leaves you out in the cold on the issue. I began to think that TTA had given up the search since after they first found out about who he was. Normally by the standards of where I'm from, they do if it comes down to only one person being able to do the job. If they catch the crook that way, fine, if they don't and loose one of their own in the process, meh... Expendable. That's the problem I find. We aren't. Sadly, only a few TTA board members believe that."

"Your enemy sounds almost bearable when compared to mine," Dragon Fist replied. "Imagine having your polar opposite always trying to do you in, or trying to spite you in some way, shape or fashion."

He turned away from the facility.

"We need to get on their trail. With the information they have, there's no telling who or what they'll go after."

Re: Tzarina's compound

2k nodded at Dragonfist's words. "I fought along someone who had a clone of herself made by the same enemy and was turned into public enemy number one throughout the universe. If it wasn't for me and her friends, she would've have been executed for crimes she didn't commit." He then turned his attention to the dilemma at hand. "Can we open up that hatch and go after them if in fact they went down that way?If not... Hmm... I've only tried this once but it will require a LOT of patience. We jump to the time before they came here and camp out until they show up!"
