Candy blinked, and asked "Maybe time travel?"

"That among other things...she's a Sorceress. A very powerful one.."

  Candy said "An honest to goodness sorceress?  Like, real magic type?"

Jeff nodded.

"Oh yeah, the definite magic type. She is, like, the Sorceress Supreme."

  Candy shook her head, and said "That's incredible.  Here I thought magic was just something in fantasy books and things!"

Jeff couldn't help but chuckle.

"I should know..I've read plenty of books, and played RPGs, but she's the real deal.."

  She asked "You know, you have some awesome friends, Jeff."

"Thank you," Jeff replied softly. "But I've got one hot girlfriend.."

  Candy smiled, and kissed him, then said teasingly "Even when I'm not on fire?"

After the kiss, Jeff looked her in the eyes.

"All the time.." he said with a huge grin.

  Candy giggled, and said "You are so sweet.  I'm amazed you didn't already HAVE a girlfriend."

Jeff smiled at Candy, blushing at her compliment of him.

"Well..I just never had a good fit with other gals before. That's probably because I never met the right one..until now."

  That got HER to blush, brilliantly crimson.  She said softly "Seems like there's more para guys than gals."

"Not sure what's up with that either..."

  Candy shrugged, and said "Well, when it comes to, umm, reproduction, males can spread the genes faster than females."

Jeff shrugged, and replied "You're probably right. So...now that we've seen the HQ, you have any suggestions on where ya want to go to next?"

  Candy smiled, and said "Want to catch dinner together?"

"That sounds pretty good. What do you like to eat?" Jeff asked.

  She tilted her head, and asked "Want to do Chinese?"

Jeff nodded and replied "That sounds pretty good. Chinese it is then..."

  Candy grinned, and said "You lead the way, I don't have a lot of spots here in town yet."

Suddenly an idea sprang to mind in Jeff's head.

"Um..how do you feel about Italian? There's a really nice place here in Weston called Versuezzi's...it's really good...and VERY romantic.."

  Candy smiled, and said softly "Sounds perfect.  I'd love to go there with you."

Jeff smiled and extended his arm to her, and they left for some good Italian eating.
