Re: Apokryphos Cafe and Coffeehouse - The Cafe
Dane had managed to find a main support beam junction of the ship, a location where two main support struts of the ship intersected. Once his companions were safely away, he grasped the beams at that junction, and pulled.
He had been told his strength might be theoretically limitless, and this seemed like a perfect time to figure that out. The ship resisted his efforts at first, and then, finally, parted. The beams went in opposite directions, and the hull tore.
He felt the cool vacuum of space chilling him, but he did not waver from his purpose. He was comfortable relying on a team, and trusted them to extricate him from his situation; it was what teams did.
Dane pushed one of the pieces of the scout ship away, sparking and sputtering as the torn electrical systems slowly died, and holding on to the other for the moment, to make it easier to find him.
The battle was over, and space, it turns out, was beautiful, despite the alien bodies floating about, and the debris. It was cold, and clean, and silent. He became aware that he was cooling down here, but not nearly as quickly as he would have before his transformation, and that he would need to breathe in a while, but not immediately. Curious.
