Larry looks a bit freaked out but doesn't make a run for it. He now begins checking for exits, something Hunter usually did when entering a room.

Lucas could see that "Larry" was getting somewhat anxious, so he did what he could to try to calm him down.

"It's OK Larry....you're safe here....do....do you need me to take you anywhere?"

He shakes his head. "Nowhere to go man.. SHelter doesn't open till 5"

Lucas' phone went off again with an incoming text.

"Geez....when it rains it pour....hang on one sec Larry..."

Exclesior lands a little away from the dojo Swithcing back to his normal form he walks to the dojo and goes in the front door.

  Meg and two other people, Iris and what looked, at a distance like Meg's twin sister in classic Chinese dress landed lightly in the courtyard.  Meg headed the way toward the doors.

  Lin was looking around with interest, her petite figure moving with an innate grace, and she clearly, to anyone with martial arts training, was very supple and graceful.  She had probably been trained intensively, judging by the way she moved, in at least two or three different martial arts.  She paused to look at the trophy case inside the dojo.

Lucas saw the entourage at the front door.

"I'll be right back Larry..."

Standing in the back room door, Lucas waves all of them back towards the room. He then does a doubletake when he sees Lin.

My God....I....I think I know her....

Larry takes a seat. "No problem man I still aint sure whats goin on but you helped me out so I'll wait around for a bit."

Bill smiled and waved at Meg and her relative. Walking over to them he says. "Hey meg, who's this with you?"

  Meg smiled, and said "Lucas, Excelsior, I'd like to introduce you to my Mother, Lin Kattakara. Mother, these are my friends, Lucas Martinez and Excelsior."

Lucas looked at Lin and his eyes went wide.

"Lin's your M....Mother....it's an honor to meet you Ma'am. Um....I feel like...I know you from somewhere...have we....have we met before?"

Bill waved at Megs mother who seemed too young to be her mother, but considering Megs abilities it wasn't to far of a stretch. "Or Bill works fine." bill looks around the dojo, Do we have like an office or something we can go to?"

"In the back...let's go..."

Lucas then gestures everyone (including Larry) toward the back office and closes the door.

  Lin smiled, and offered her hand for Bill and Lucas to shake as she said in perfect, unaccented English "It is a pleasure to meet you both.  I have been hoping Megaira would make some friends more like her, so that she'll be comfortable here in Weston.  Cookies anyone?"  She gave Lucas a smile, and said "Shangri-La can be rather disorienting for first time visitors.  You tend to forget some of what you see until you go back.  But not everyone there is a resident."

Larry looks a little intimidated by all the people but keeps quiet.

Lucas shook Lin's hand and took in all that she said.

He nodded in acknowledgement. "Perhaps we may have to talk more about that later, Ma'am. Right now though...we have a couple of things to deal with. First, I'd like to introduce you to my friend Larry...."

He whispered to Meg, "It's Don...he doesn't remember himself though..."

Bill unsure of waht is going on moves to the side of the room and leans against the wall.

  Lin stepped close to Larry, and looked into his eyes.  Her own emerald ones flared with energy, and she said softly "I will help you find yourself.  Please, let us help you."

Larry looks confused but tentaively puts a hand out. "O-okay if just to prove I'm not who you think I am.."

  Lin smiled, and said "You are you.  The essential you never changes.  It is only a perception of who you are that is shared by others that confuses them when the you thay they see is not who they think you are.'  She took his hand gently, and offered to lead him into the office.

Lucas continued to observe Lin. It seemed that a part of him did remember her...and her comment about Shangri-La....she HAD to be there. She KNEW that he wasn't a resident.

He made it a point to talk with her more at length later....

"O-okay" Larry says as they make their way into the office.

  Lin smiled, and had 'Larry' sit down in a chair.  Then she said quietly "I am going to raise a Circle.  Do not break the Circle while I work."  She sketched a rune of glowing emerald power in the air, then walked widdershins around the office, laying out a Circle that also glowed with emerald power.  Dragon Fist could FEEL the arcane energies.  This was no hedge-witch, this was a powerful sorceress.  Then she sat on the floor, before 'Larry' and laid her hands on his knees, palms up, waiting for him to lay his hands on hers.

As the arcane sigils were made manifest, Lucas could feel the mystic reverberations on his mystic heart. As if it somehow Answered her power.

And Lucas instantly knew that there was more to this woman than the eye could behold. A WHOLE LOT MORE....
