Larry places his hands on hers  a crackle of emerald energy pulses between their hands. As thie hands connect "Larry throws his head back and drak red energy comes out of his eyes and mouth. After a moment the light fades and he looks around. "What the hell just happened to me?" His voice now fully Don again.

Lucas looked at his friend and smiled.

"Welcome back Don....I knew that Larry facade wasn't you pal....though I am wondering what happened..."

  Lin smiled, and rose as she said "Your mind had been blocked from remembering who you are, and what you can do.  I corrected the issues.  Someone really doesn't like you."  She turned, and made a motion with one hand, and the Circle she'd raised vanished like someone had flipped a lightswitch off.  She added "I would recommend practicing your telepathic shielding."

The door behind the group opens and in steps a man in a stylishly cut suit. "Well isn't it obvious? I replaced his old personality with a new one." Looking around at the group he said "I have no qualms with the rest of you, this is between me and him. Let us leave and this will be the last you hear of me."

Hunter nods at Lin and opens his mouth to speak when Yuri enters. "And what do you  plan to do with me now Yuri? I've gotten out of your plans to 'ruin me' twice now."

  Meg had been watching all of this with interest, and she shook her head as she commented absently "I think this explains the PTA now."

"Yuri? What the hell...what's happened to you Yuri?"

Lucas was on edge. He didn't want a fight breaking out IN the dojo...but Yuri seemed to up the ante.

"Why Lucas I thought I was the one in the coma? Its simple I woke up after getting dragged into a pointless battle with no idea whats going on and I wake up with one thing on my mind. Revenge. So I call the police and offer to tell them what I know of Hunters vigilantie activities I have the Bertellis put pressure on the mayor and bring them the Builder to create a little chaos to keep the Legacy occupied. Then when It looks like Don might get off I break him out and turn him into Lrry. ANd now well before I would have been content to just ruin you Don as you'd ruined me, but apparently that won't stick so I'm going to have to kill you." Turning to the others he says "LIke I said my problems are with the Hunter here I'll even be willing to dispose of him elsewhere."

  Meg held up a hand, then just smiled and laid it on Lucas' shoulder.  She whispered to him "Lucas, let them leave the dojo.   There are too many students to fight here.  Too much chance of collateral damage.  And there's something else . . . ."

Don stands stretching his arms a little. "You want to take me down Yuri? You won't get me wtihout a fight. I trusted you, helped things make sense when you starte dknowing things you shouldn't helped you put your powers to good use. YOu were my freind and I didn't want aanything to happen to you but don't think for a second I'll just lay down and die."

  Lin smiled, and said politely "If you insist on fighting, can we please take it where there aren't innocent bystanders?  There IS a class out there in the dojo.  If you two insist on a battle, can we at least go to a nice, empty arena?  The Colosseum in Rome is nice . . . "

Lucas glared at Yuri.

"Yuri....you don't just come into a place of business and threaten someone. You served the law....you should know better. As for Hunter...yes he's not perfect...but he's done a lot of good for the city....the man you want to avenge yourself on is dead...Brain, no doubt, is burning in Hell..."

"No Don I wouldn't expect anything less of you. Fighting is waht you do, you fight and you fight and you don't care who gets caugh tin the crossfire, Like Ellen, or me, or even John. I said I'm willing ot elave didn't I?  I don't want collaterla damage any more than the rest of you>" At Lucas's words Yuri laughed aloud. "I wouldn't have been any where near Brain if it wasn't for him. You think I just appeared on the scene when you neede dknew members? That I just poofed into existence? I was helping him before he even met you he drafted me into this war and now its time to pay the piper." Yuri moved ot the door. "Come on Don, This is just between you and me anyway."

Iris frowned as the others spoke. Yuri couldn't have Don partially because... well Iris needed Don for her pokedex, "Why?" She asked crossly, "What could anyone have done that would make a reasonable person want to kill another person, especially when ones powers were so inertly nonlethal? A person could do good things with that sort of mind-effecting powers, like repressing memories or impulses to do evil in serial criminals, or implanting a conscience, or... cure brain tumors, maybe, if you focused." She frowned, looking between Don and Yuri.

Don nods and makes for the door. "Alright Yuri if this is the way it has to be. Then lets go."

"All right...let's take this outside....don't think for a moment though that I'm going to stand for this...."

Looking at Iris Yuri says simply. "I hope you never find out" Before turning and heading out teh door and out of the dojo and to a convertible sitting out in front of the dojo. "Only a two seater I'm afraid this ride is just fo rthe two of us. And if You follow us, I'll know and if you do" He Opens his jacket revealing a pistol and shoulder holster "I'll decide not to give him a fighting chance."

Lucas sees the pistol. He hadn't gone this far to help his friend get restored to lose him just like that now.

"Damnit...all right....I really expected more of you Yuri...."

Yuri gets in the car as does Don and they drive off.

Lucas looked back briefly at the class. A few of the students peered around to see what was going on. Flip also looked concerned for a moment.

"Everything all right Lucas?"

"Yeah Flip....everything's OK....by the way, these are my friends Meg, Lin, Iris, and Bill...we'll probably heading out soon...sorry for the disturbance..."

Flip nodded and went back to teaching the class. Lucas then gestured for the others.

"All right....I don't like leaving Don on his own...but you saw that Yuri had the upper hand. Damnit...I hate being helpless like this...but I guess this is something that he has to do..."

He then looked at Bill for a moment. "You and I were going to compare notes, were we not? I think that we might be connected somehow....maybe your voice and my Guardian might be one and the same person..."

"Wait a second." Bill holds out both hands . "We're just going to leave him out with a maniac wwho more than likely is going to shoot him? Theres gotta be something we can do!"

Lucas then asked Bill, "What will we do? Bill...he's a telepath...he will sense us coming even before we arrive. I don't like it any more than you do...unless you have a way of telepathically shielding our presence. If Yuri knows we're coming, Don is as good as dead. You saw the pistol..."

He then turned away from Bill.

"Do you think I like this? Not being able to help someone who has been a comrade to me? I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any..."

Iris pulled out a voice recorder and said, "Note: study telepathy and develop shield or scrambler."

Bill looks out in the direction the car had sped off in. Before Turning to Meg "Can you do that GEM scan to find him? But wait until they reach they're destination and start fighting? Me and Iris should be able to get there fast enough."
