Mr. Witness nodded, and said "Go home.  Go see your girl, and get some sleep.  We've gotten a lot of information on this crap now.  Go see what you can find out about what's going to happen at home now."

  Crystal Rose flattened onto his chest in rampant pose, giving him the comfort of having one familiar (even if she was Clarissa's) back on his hide where he was used to having them.  The wind stirred his wings faintly too.

Ozzy nodded and said,"Thanks. I'll do that." Tats hopped back on as well, curling around his arm and flattening, though he couldn't quite cover the whole thing.

Ozzy readied his wings and compressed himself further before leaping skyward, using the downbeat of his wings to gain even more altitude as he started to fly, albeit clumsily. Thankfully, he'd seen enough birds and watched Andy enough that he had a rough idea of how it was done. It was just that actually *doing* it was new, and somewhat difficult.

the room physically began to shake. The shadows seemed to ripple in his fury. The police found it hard to move due to the shadows be stuck to the ground keeping them pinned in place. The lights and fire that lit the room grew bigger and large.

"stop RIGHT NOW...how dare you...these people...PEOPLE that were born differently YES blessed by greater power...made different made unique. How dare you just come over and apprehend them....AND dont you dare say its to help them they never asked for help...let them all GO...I will not ask again...I am going to say it leave let them go."

He began to walk towards the police officers.

"We have not broken any laws."

One of the officers answered "You are all trespassing.  This property is condemned, and you are not supposed to be inside the building.  We are transporting parahumans to a safe facility where they can be out of harm's way.  We don't want any more lynchings!"

  Maggie had left the mall, calling one of her current batch of suitors.  She chattered with him for several long minutes, and when she hung up the phone, she had a truly evil smile on her face.  She'd meet him in the park in twenty minutes, and he'd bring her the stuff.

"As i recall in varies history scenarios that was what it was called in which these safe facilities is to make sure you can keep us parahumans on lockdown and keep an eye on us. You fear that in which you can not understand...let me tell you something officer....fear..HA you do not know fear....you dont even know why these parahumans are hiding in this building..."

Leo began to change into his black and white demon like form.

"those parahumans...the civilians whisper of....parahumans so powerful they could wipe out cities..."

Leo felt something in him fully snap. He didnt know what he was doing at this point his more inner demon had taken over.

"I am the reason you stupid police officers...are useless...your guns...PATHETIC."

The shadows in which the police officers were stuck soon shot out and cocooned them as the shadows under the vans lifted them up and slid the parahumans out.

"I love your humans who have little...in the ways of authority can just stroll in and round up who ever they feel like it...ohhh trust us..we are here to help...that is nothing put sweet wonderful bullshit.....let me round you police men up dont worry i am taking you somewhere SAFE." he let out an echoing laughter that seemed to shake the building.

"go my fellow supreme ones my fellow parahumans run be free...dont let these lesser life forms subjugate you."

  One of the ones not already rounded up in a vehicle, Lucky Tom was waiting for the others as they took advantage of the opportunity provided them by Leo, and they ran.  Fleeing the cops, and Lucky Tom waved them his way, then began leading them through the alleyways to somewhere else to shelter.  He took care of the homeless parahuman community, and did his best for them.  He would come back for Leo, if Leo wanted to come.

Leo used the shadows to throw the police officers into the wall hard enough to knock them out and in return shattered their weapons. He moved slowly around the building taking out the officers in a fury while laughing an evil laugh that echoed.

  By this time, all the homeless had gotten out, and Lucky Tom was leading them into a set of storm drains that would give them shelter from any inclement weather, but keep them all high and dry.

Seeing his victory he faded into the shadows and soon appearing behind Lucky Tom.

"they have been defeated...are our friends safe."

  Lucky Tom said "We will be soon.  Come on, it won't be as comfortable, but they can't find us as easy either.  Thanks, my friend."  He led the way through the storm sewers as he spoke.

Leo soon placed a hand on the wall and with his free hand grabbed his head as he slowly crumpled to the ground groaning in pain as flashes of images flew through his head.

"aahh Tom...help... me" Leo gasped as more images flooded his mind.

as soon as it happened did it end and near the end of this wave of images and memories did one thing whisper softly in his ear. "Leo...Black."

  Tom snagged him, putting Leo in a fireman's carry as he brought them to the place he'd had in mind.  The rest of the band spread out into the hallways right there, and settled into the area, setting up small beds and fire rings.

Leo opened his eyes as they slowly adjusted to the rooms light. He sat up rubbing his head and glanced around the area at the dismal sight. He motioned for Tom to come over.

  Lucky Tom was sitting about two feet away.  Good conversational distance without feeling like he was hovering.  He said "Feeling any better, my friend?"

Leo stared at Tom and spoke loud enough for only tom to hear.

"have you heard of a Leo Black....cause that is the only name that comes to mind when I think about who I am."

  He frowned, and said "He's a lawyer.  Died a while back in a big fight with some extradimensional nasty.  If you're him, I think you bodysnatched yourself a new one."

Leo stood up stared at the sewers and new what he had to do.

"Listen Tom I am certain I am this person...this Leo Black and if he is ...if I am wealthy enough I shall use all my resources to do what must be done. I wont rest till parahumans have a place to call their own I wont rest till we the future of mankind have a safe haven."

With that Leo faded into the shadows vanishing.

Victoria held on to Andy, enjoying the nocturnal ride that they were both on, Her hair flowing in the breeze, she luxuriated being like this with the man she loved.

Andy tooled them around, often taking his hands off the handlebars to hug her.  He could control the bike with his TK.

Victoria took in the sights of the streets, with Andy hugging on her as they rode along. It was nice that the forces of evil allowed them this time together, if even for a short while.

  He rumbled softly "You ready to go home, love?"

"This has been a nice ride, but I think I'm ready to go home," Victoria said, enjoying the night air.

  He kissed her throat, and turned the bike toward home, telling her "Your wish, my love, is my pleasure to fulfill."
