"Hold your fire," Katy said, for about the tenth time today. She wasn't liking who had all come to the disturbance, especially the ones who had the cops called on themselves. Katy picked up the VC radio.
"This is officer Hanson, requesting Para-Swat. We're at the docks, in between piers 11 and 12. Be advised, I'm sending the rest of the units home," she spoke into it.
"Yes, ma'am. But keep the officers, you're going to need the ba-," and then Katy turned it off.
"All of you, go home. Conventional gunfire like ours won't do much against paras."
"But."
"That's an order, Stevens," she snapped back. Reluctantly, all of the officers who were currently at the docks turned and left. As soon as they'd rounded the corner, Katy threw off her shawl, along with her bandana, and began unzipping her rather loose pants. . "Don, if you tell anyone, I'm going to kill you," she said, though it wasn't needed.
Underneath the outerwear was a black jumpsuit, almost skin-tight. There became a ripple in time and space beside Katy, and she stuffed her civilian clothes within, and withdrew a long trenchcoat. Quickly putting it on, she ran towards the group. 15.6? That's a record, she thought, then stopped just a little bit away from everyone. She did some of her best work from a range.
