In business news Local BUsinessman Donald Derring has gone missing. He was reported missing by the family of his late wife Mr. and Mrs. Williams, Ellen Derring passed away around this time last year. His home at Derring condominiums seemed barely lived in According to the police who stopped by It is unknown whether this is related to the anniversary of his wifes death.

Today a local grocery clerk entered his place of employment and summarily shot three peopel and then himself. Early toxicology reports show he was on blood at the time

The story of the hour is congress's  passing of a new Parahuman registration law. Th elaw will make it so anyone exhibiting paranomral abilities will have to register with the government much like registering a firearm or ones hands as lethal weapons. Senator Edward Falkworth had this to say.

We don't plan on forcing anyone to do anything or work for the governement we simply want to know who has these abilities and where. WEhn you move somehwere you have to be part of the census to show where you live, or if you posses a weapon you have to register it with the governemtn this is similar. We understand that many of these people did not choose to become parahumans and we aren't talking about rounding them up or sending killer robots after them, this isn't a comic book after all. Not to say we aren't interested in employing parahumans but, that will be strictly o0n a volunteer basis.

Last night local business man Donald Derring, was arrested on suspicion of being the vigilantie Hunter. He was held in custody for less than an hour when he escaped injuring five police officers, His current wherabouts are unknown.

Also Last night a party prank gone horribly awry led in teh creation of a new Parahuman, whom attacked his tormentors and was stopped by teen hero, Excelsior. Afterwards he had this to say.

I'm just glad I was around its horrible what some kids do to others but its no excuse to attack someone, Intolerance is one of our worlds biggest ills adn the responibility relies on my generation to go out and change the world. One good deed can always lead to another.

Tonight in the Weston Museum a pair of ancient daggers known as "The Pitiless" will be moved from another museum. The daggers have a long history and from what I'm told are beautifully crafted. The unveiling will be tommorow morning.
