Ther is a falsh of bright light behind the villains. Before they can even react Exccelsior flies over to Force Giving him a tremendous punch in the gut even sending him upward a bit. With a cry he falls to the ground.

Icepick only stirred briefly. It looked like the other guy thought he was out.

Ok sucker....here's a nice surprise for ya...

And he attempted to encase his legs up to his thighs in ice...

Force landed to his knees and grabbing his stomach coughed up blood.

"Oh god." Was all Bill could say, He must have ruptured something. He didn't even know he could hit that hard! "M-medic!" What was he going to do? He stepped back his hands going to either side of his face. _{"Oh god."}

Icepick then stood to his feet and loomed over the villain.

"Don't worry...I'll get ya some help...but first..."

He froze his hands so that way he couldn't do the voodoo that he did. "I need some paramedics! The two perps are in there...and this poor kid got caught in the crossfire..."

Turning to the kid, he then asked, "You OK kiddo?"

This felt good. Better than any rush he felt while playing Call of Duty 4 or HALO 3...lets hope that Dad wasn't watching...otherwise his ass might be grass...

Nerdy kid and Excelsior are same person, He turned back before seriously injuring the perp

OOC: yeah Icepick is doing that for appearances sake, that way nobody outs him as the "hero" that went in with him. I also edited my post after realizing that :)

Looking out and seeing if there are any law enforcement out here, he points to the bank.

"Your robbers are in there...although they're on ice at the moment..."

Ruling Excelsior changed back in a panic.

Several officers and paramedics the one in the lead instantly recognizable as the Head of Weston's Scu Captain Richard Jordan. Approaching the two villains the parmedics immediately begin picking up Force who is looki9ng very pale. "My god what di you do to him? I'm not surprised someone got caught in the crossfire the way you burst in here like you owned the place. Did you not happen to see the police barricade? Cuz it was there and ther was no sign saying hero wannabes wanted." He turned Rubbing his hand through his hair. "Just what I need a bunch of kids playing hero. Now get out of here, next time I need som eone to reckessly come in on a situation I had under control I'll call ya."

Icepick lowered the temperature around the two thugs keeping them encased but raising their body heat.

"There ya go..."

Icepick looked down for a moment, then made an Ice Slide and slid away.

Damnit, maybe the crusty police Captain was right. Leave the hero stuff to the professionals, like those guys in Legacy. They sure knew what they were doing.

I mean I did beat two supervillains, right? Why is it that even though I stopped 'em, I feel like I messed up? *Sigh* I'd better get home before Dad kills me...

As soon as he could BIll turned back into excelsior and flew off after the icey hero. QUickly catching up to him he shouts after him. "Wait!"

Icepick saw the flying hero come after him.

"Dude...I messed up back there...you really don't wanna be around me, man.."

"No. You didn't I did, I rushed in first, I'm the one who hit the guy too hard. YOu got the rap for what I did. YOu did awesome back there YOU totally saved my ass I din't mean to hit him that hard I just...I just got my powers, I didn't know how strong I was."

Icepick looked back at Excelsior and shrugged.

"Maybe that's true....I dunno....but you're welcome. I'm glad that I could do something right...maybe. Look...uh, I really have to get home...but do you have Yahoo IM? 'Cause I think we might need to chat some more, y'know? My handle's Icepick91..."

"Uhh sure, mines omniverse42" And with a wave he flew off incredibly fast.

"Thanks bro...look forward to talkin' with you...."

Hunter enters the bank immediately checking the exits before getting in line. Making his way through the line of people he withdrew some the money he would need from one of his emergency accounts.  Now for the supplies.

It was a good plan, a simple plan.  Get in, wave guns around, disable the guards, grab the money from the vault and then get out.  The total time was supposed to be less than 3 minutes.  Everything had been going so well.

Up until the moment when they saw the woman in the slinky red dress standing in the doorway.  She stood casually, hip cocked to one side causing the skirt of her dress to slide away to reveal a gorgeous leg in thigh high boots and seemed to be looking at her nails.  She glanced up from her nails, her eyes seeming to sparkle beneath the thin veil of her hat.

Mirage smiled.  It was pure bad luck that these guys had decided to rob a bank that she been in.  Bad luck for them, good luck for her.  The last two days had been wonderful if not a drought of ass kicking.  Her sister had been released from the hospital and she'd spent a lot of time just talking with Dragon Fist.  The man was getting to her and she didn't bother to fight it.  He might be Fridays boyfriend but Mirage felt very close to him.  Too bad he was still hung up on Friday or she might be tempted to make a play for him.

Four robbers and only one of her.  It hardly seemed fair.

The robbers postured of course.  Waving their guns at either Mirage or some innocent bystander, but it did little to phase her.  Dark crimson knives flew from her hands as she whirled into action.  The blades struck unerringly into the robbers guns, blocking their triggers.

Suddenly there were five Mirages, darting and flipping about the bank.  Only one was real, the others illusions.  The first robber Mirage dispatched with the classic sword through the head.  He fell down unconscious.  The second robber found himself tied up by a crimson whip and KO'd by a shapely foot to the side of his head.  The third robber was cut into by three long crimson fans that first pinned his arms and then sliced through his neck.

The fourth robber aimed a machine pistol at some woman on the floor.  His hand was steady and his voice was firm as Mirage sauntered up to him, her skirts flowing with the sway of her hips.  He was saying something but Mirage wasn't listening.  She was just enjoying this workout.  A little bit of action after two days of nothing.  The excitement, the thrill, flowed through her like a good scotch.  Two days of good tidings and a bank robbery to entertain her on the third.

It was two days of happiness that filled Mirages head with blissful images.  Her sister, Lucas, even her physiotherapy hadn't been as frustrating.  So distracting were the images that her attention was split between them and the fourth robber.

Enough to miss the fifth criminal member of the band of thieves.  She'd been the last one in the vault and had come out to see her companions taken out by this mysterious woman.  The robber raised her shotgun and fired.

The fourth robber glanced over to the side and that was the only warning that Mirage had before the shot hit her.  She staggered and then the second shot hit.  Instantly, her side was burning with pain as she fell to her knees.  Blood began to flow freely from her new wounds, seeping through her fingers and she winced in pain.

Mirage cursed.  She'd screwed up, gotten distracted and this was what had happened.  The robbers grabbed what they could of their stolen cash and ran for the door.  No one was especially quick or accurate with buckshot in their side, but Mirage managed to teleport, her passage marked by the thick gouts of crimson smoke.

The two robbers collapsed to the floor along with Mirage, only they had long crimson daggers in their heads while Mirage merely bled all over the floor.  The teleport had taken a lot out of her and she dropped to her knees once again.  She could hear the sirens now, the shrill sound between her gasps of pain.  She was not a registered superhero, she was a rogue vigilante and she could not afford to deal with the police.

Mirage gasped for air and managed to screw up enough strength for one more teleport.

Currently a group of costumed thugs stepped into the bank. Lead by a woman dressed in agreen body suit she shouted. "Everyone hold up this is a robbery." Nodding to her subordinates one large man in black takes astep by the door a man with a yellow and black Helmet starts getting people go down while the remaining two on in brown the other in black both headed downstairs to the vault.

Oswald had been at the bank, taking care of some personal business when the Hornet and her goons entered the building. He got down with the others, silently sending a mental message to Ozzy as he did.

Painter arrived at the bank, skating towards a convenient place to hide as he looked for anything that looked like it might be the bad guys' transport.

Don didn't see any vehicle that seemd appropriate. Perhaps they had 'alternate transport?"

Ozzy grumbled.

'Dammit. Looks like we gotta do this the hard way.'

With that, he got back on the mindworms. He was definitely gonna need some help. If they'd actually brought enough people to reasonably expect to rob a bank, there was no way he could take down all of them alone without someone innocent (or himself!) getting hurt.

Ex appeared onthe scene landing alitle aways from Painter. He takes a look around sening mindworm images so theothers can port over. "Alright so wahts the plan?"

"Unfortunately, they don't have a getaway car, which means they can probably fly, or worse, 'port. Honestly, the current plan is 'wait for Meg, get a GEM scan to find out their numbers and positions'. Given that this is a bank there's not likely to be any alternate entrances, though there *may* be a skylight, and that'd be about it... but that would be dangerous, since there's all those innocents lying on the floor in the bank. I'm kinda anxious, my Grandpa's in there, I hope they don't try to take him hostage or something." he replied, trying to watch the goings-on within the bank.
