Baring her teeth, Meg growled at Ex.  She was strong, but nowhere near as strong as he was.  She did, however, head-butt him.

The blow to the head hurt but Ex held on strong. "Someone find her mom she mgiht knwo how to fix this, I'll hold her as long as I can!"

  Darren reformed himself, and said "What's her cell number?  I'll borrow the phone!"

The combat mage brings his hands forward but the icetrick worked he falls to the ground hard sending his aim off and his blast goes wide disintegrating a priceless piece of artwork. While are focused on teh combat Mage they hear  athwiop and suddenly the Mage stops struggling. Out of the Shadows come tow men in suits. ONe of them holds  out identification "Agent Mcrae, Department of Paranormal Activity." WHile the other works on cuffing the man. "Good work boys sorry we're a little late."

Icepick grinned under his mask.

Wow...I can't believe that worked.....wow....if only Grandpa could've seen this...

He then gave a thumbs up. "Better late than never, bros..."

Ex shouts the number at Darren while he holds Meg. "C'mon Meg, snap out of it!"

  Darren dialed the cellular phone number.  When Lin answered with "Hello, Lin Kattakara."  He smiled, and said "Thank gods we got you!!  Your daughter's gone berserk and sprouted wings!!  Get to the museum ASAP!!"

  His answer came in a crack of thunder, as Lin appeared.

  She growled, but he could see the pure glowing red of her eyes flicker a little purply, before she slammed her head into his again, REALLY hard.  He heard her nose crack, and felt the heat of her blood on his forehead too.

"Ugh" Ex said as her ehad slammed into his. HIs grip falters as his head goes backwards.

 Lin had immediately grasped the issue at hand.  She took a deep breath, and raised her voice.  "WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOUNG LADY?!!??  I know dan well you have better manners than to go trying to crack your friends' skulls!!  This is NOT acceptable behavior.  Excelsior, let her go so I don't hit you too."

Ex drops her and flies a bit away. "What ...are you...going... to do?" His breath was ragged.

  Lin's answer came apparent from the heavens.  Lightning in deep, forest green slammed out of the heavens, thicker than her waist, and struck Megaira, turning dazzling white as it struck.  She said quietly "Fry the Demon enough to contain them both, and then take her for an Exorcism."

The Dpa Agents look up at the large crakc. "The hell?" Agent Mcrae says "I'll go chec k it out, before drawing a revolver and heading outside at a jog.

Ex backs up insticcntively with a "Woah." Concerned about megs survival but tursting her mom would know waht to do.

  Lin held the lightning for a count of ten, then dropped her hand, letting the lightning fall.  Then she pulled a tiny 'spiderweb' from her sleeve, and wrapped it around Megaira, who had fallen, unconscious but already healing at a frightening pace, then made a motion that made Meg lift into the air.  She said "Hold still a moment, Ex.  She's cracked your skull, hairline fracture."  And brushed her long-nailed hand across where her daughter had head-butted him.  Making the headache go away.

"Hairline, Fracture?" Ex repeated. "But hows that possible, I'm bulletproof....?"

"Because she's possessed.  Demons can do things Mortals can not."  She hooked a finger through the webbing around her daughter, and they both vanished.

Painter looked at the other DPA agent, asking, "Have you got any idea on where LeCarde is? This guy is just the accomplice, the demon mage is somewhere else."

"We haven't spotted him my guess is he knew you guys would be hear and din't want to get caught so he sent his minoion here."

Icepick shrugged. "Well...I guess we showed him, didn't we Ozzy? Of course Big Bad will try to make his presence felt, I'm sure.."

"I wouldn't be surprised if he was sent in to set off any traps we set for these two rats before Lecarde himself came in. Especially with what's going on outside. I'm going on to the Pitiless, to make double sure he doesn't get them." said Painter, heading deeper into the museum.

"Right behind ya bro," Icepick added as he followed Painter in.

As the two made their way through the museum they noticed an infernal light. Lecard stood there holding the daggers under his arms. "Your too late wizardling! My minions distracted you long enough, Till we meet again!" ANd with a flash of light he was gone.

Icepick gritted his teeth under his mask.

"He has the.....SON OF A...."

And he tried to freeze the mad sorcerer....

tried.....

...and failed....

Painter rushed towards the man, before he disappeared in a flash of light. Painter cursed loudly, punching the floor angrily.

"Dammit dammit dammit DAMMIT! That guy was just like five steps ahead of us. What the crap! Well, I guess we're all screwed now, unless someone else has a plan, 'cause it seems it's my day to just mess everything up."
