Jeff chuckled as he accepted the offered cinnamon stick and sat down, clearly inviting her to sit next to him.

  Candy grinned and kissed him, then said softly "It's nice to sit here and lean on you, Jeff."

Jeff held her close to him after their kiss.

"So....um...am I at least a decent kisser? I'll admit that I'm not practiced.." he said with a huge blush.

  Candy smiled, and kissed him again before she said softly "I like the way you kiss.  Which is all that really matters, now isn't it?"

Jeff nodded at Candy as he smiled and looked back towards the skyline.

"If you're happy...then I'm happy..."

  Candy grinned, and said "That works for all then.  You know you're adorable, right?"

"I've never had anyone so special like you tell me that before..." he said before putting his arm around her.

  Candy smiled, and shifted from sitting on the bench, to sitting on his lap, resting against his shoulder.  Clearly cuddled close and content there.

Jeff smiled as Candy cuddled closer to him. Clearly enjoying her company as much as she was enjoying his.

  Now that she had his lap pinned down, she seemed perfectly content to sit there all night long.

Jeff snuggled closer to her.

"Um....I may have to disturb you in a few hours. But I'm good here..."

  Candy giggled, and said "It feels nice to sit here and lean.  I'm enjoying it very much."

"And I'm enjoying it too," Jeff replied with a huge grin. "Tell me something...did I REALLY look that lost when I was in that airport? I must've looked pretty bad.."

  Candy said softly "You looked lost, and alone, and like you were doing your best to be strong, in a very big, confusing place that has far too much going on."

"Yeah...I was a fish out of water during that time with a lot on my mind. But you made sense of it all...thank you..."

  Candy smiled, and said "That was my pleasure, Jeff.  I know I won't regret it."

Jeff smiled at that.

"So...um...seeing as I have a few months left before high school is over..I guess I have a couple of questions...um, would you like to go to my prom with me...and would you like to come to my graduation?"

  She blushed, and said softly "I would love to attend both.  But if I need a dress, you'll have to let me know in advance."

Jeff continued to hold her close, loving the feeling of her next to him.

"Yeah...I imagine that you might need a dress for both occassions. I have to admit that I would love to see you in like a black halter minidress...of course, I would want you to be comfy..."

  Candy smiled, and said "Guess you'll have to go shopping with me so we can agree on a dress together.  Think you can handle that?"

Jeff nodded, and barely managed an excited and near breathless "uh huh" in answer to Candy's question.

  Candy smiled, and said playfully "Of course, you know I might get extravagant, and go to Paris to get a dress to wear for you."

Jeff chuckled at that.
"Yeah..I've been thinking too conventional. I forgot that Paris was even an option."

  Candy laughed, and said "If I can teleport, why NOT use it to shop?  I mean, it isn't like it costs me any airfare to get there.  Hell, I could probably make a lot of money with instant trips if I wanted to make 'ports commercially available."

"Yeah..your services would be in demand pretty much all the time.." Jeff said, chuckling. "Still..that is pretty cool to have that as an option."
