Re: Weston city park
Oswald nodded, smiliing, "You need, at the least, a functional knowledge of how magic works. Fortunately, I've taken on an apprentice recently. I believe you know Iris' friend Chuck? Well, the boy has some amount of magical potential. Fortunately, Ozzy noticed it before it was too late. The poor boy was headed for disaster, but he should be all right once I start teaching him to control his power. Thankfully, it's been going off on its own to let off the excess energy, and the boy's wishes seem to involve getting his favorite foods, mostly.
However, it does involve a bit of reading. I warn you, we wizards invented speed-reading for a reason. Fortunately, you won't be getting into the really thick stuff for a while. But, I believe you need your first lesson now, something every wizard hears at one point or another: You are not a monster. Just because you've got the potential to do some very bad things, doesn't mean you have to do them. Having magic is a bit like owning a gun. While certain people use it to do very bad things with it, there are others who choose to use their gifts for good. The magic itself, barring actual demon magic, is not evil. All that matters is whose hands the magic is in."
