Candy giggled, and used a peppermint stick to stir her hot cocoa with a grin.

Jeff chuckled, "You are so cute when you do that."

  Candy said "Sorry, it's a habit.  Want some yourself?"

'Gladly," Jeff said, grinning. He was still wondering how he had gotten so lucky to meet someone as adorable and nice as Candy.

  Candy giggled, and offered him peppermint, spearmint, and wintergreen candy sticks, grinning as she did.

Jeff grinned as he accepted the sticks of candy from his girlfriend.

"I guess it really is too bad we're on a case right now."

  Candy nodded, and said softly "I know.  We REALLY need to get me one of those mindworm thingies."

"We will, Candy. We will.." Jeff replied softly as he took his hand and placed it over hers.

  Candy smiled, and laced her fingers between his own, smiling at him.

"So...aside from all the vampire hunting junk, you're enjoying yourself in Weston so far?" Jeff asked, still holding her hand.

  Candy smiled, and said "Yes.  I am indeed enjoying my time here.  But the biggest reason, is that you're here."

Jeff smiled at Candy. He certainly found a diamond with this girl, she was so amazing.

He chuckled for a moment.

"Damn....LAX seemed to be so big when I was there. So hard to navigate. And I was in a sea of thoughts. You made it easier for me to navigate, to get to where I needed to go. And now you're here......I can't think of any other place I'd rather be right now."

  Candy blushed, and said "I'm glad.  We make a hell of a good pair!  And we're both having a good time!"

"Yes we are," Jeff replied grinning. "It's not all fun and games though, but yeah, I'm glad that we are able to share in this. It's not every guy who can say he has a great girlfriend who understands him inside and out."

  Candy smiled, and said softly "Yes I do.  And I am SO glad I do!"

Jeff smiled at that.

"Me too. And it feels awesome. Just..its so incredible. I just can't wait to get all of this graduation stuff over with."

  She grinned, and held his hand as she sipped her hot cocoa.

Jeff smiled at Candy as she held his hand.

"It has been a little bit since everyone left on their search. Its been pretty quiet so far."

  Candy nodded, and said "Sounds like a good plan to me, seeing what they're up to."

Jeff nodded as he listened to the mindworm message, sending back one of his own.

"Well...looks like one got away, and one bit the dust."

  Candy nodded, and gave his hand a squeeze.

Jeff smiled as Candy squeezed his hand. "Guess we'd better enjoy the silence while it lasts.."

  Candy laughed, and fished her MP3 player out of her pocket, and did something.  Then the notes of Depeche Mode's Enjoy The Silence began to play.  And she winked at him.

Jeff chuckled at that. This was one of his favorite songs.

  Candy smiled, and said "Sounds like our song, don't you think?"
