Nora smiled, and said "By all means, Don, they're your friends.  And it WOULD make sense, you know."

Don reached across the table taking Nora's hand in his. "I'll be going out again tonight the rest of the team picked up on a guy who's abducting and experimenting on paras, I'll get back as soon as I can."

  Nora squeezed his hand, and said "Just be very careful, please?"

  Diantha told him solemnly {{Daddy, if he's experimenting on paras, he needs stopped.  Thump on him for me too.}}

Don nodded. "As careful as I can be." He smiled at Diantha. "I'll be sure to give him an extra set of lumps, just for you."

David looked up his expression Darkening. "If I wasn't needed here I'd give you a hand Don experiments kind of hit close to home"

  Diantha frowned, then reached.  And made a new sound.  She growled.  {{Grampa, you may.  I'll keep tabs on both of you, and if we need help . . . I'll let you know.  That poor girl.}}

David blinked a few times. "I can't Diantha especially not at night if anything happens here I might not get back in time"

David looked confused. "I have NO idea what she's talking about."

Don looked at his plate then at Diantha. "I do, and someone needs to not peek in peoples minds without permission"

  Nora sighed, and dumped a third helping of food onto David's plate.

Don chuckled. "You tryin to fatten him  up? Let the man decide how much he wants to eat, Won't be much of a bodyguard when he's weighing 400 pounds"

  Nora chuckled, and said "He eats like he hasn't seen food in a week!"

David shook his head. "I don't mind, my metabolism is fast I've barely put on a pound since I broke out of that lab"

  Nora laughed, and said "I'm going to have to threaten you with lasagna and such, aren't I?"  Clearly teasing him.

David chuckled. "Oh no not lasagna!  My one weakness..."

  Nora laughed, and said "That's it then, lasagna for dinner tomorrow for all!"

Don laughed finishing what was left on his plate. "You won't be satisfied until we're all obese won't you?"

  Nora shook her head, and retorted "Given your metabolism, I could feed you a whole lasagna and you'd not gain an ounce!"

Don having cleaned his plate put down his fork. "Well thats the problem with being the son of a supersoldier now I'm going to make a few-" He stopped as his phone started vibrating. Taking it out of his pocket he looked at the caller id muttering. "Well thats convenient' Before picking up. "Hello, Excelsior I was going to call you in a-

Don got up grabbing paper and pen writing the number down.

Bye." Hanging up his BlackBerry he turned to his family. "Well they're at the Gysbournes right now. I'll give them a call in a minute but it turns out the gay couple from THe NEw Age Defenders have a time travelling clone daughter from the future who is apparently friends with Diantha in the future and she'd like to come over and meet her as long as its okay with her."

  Diantha replied {{Sure.  I'm game to meet her.  Apparently she and I are good friends then?}}

Don nodded. "I'll set something up a bit later. But first lets find you a nanny." Dialing the number on the piece of paper he called the Gysbourne Manor.

Don got off the phone. "Well looks like they're hunting vampires today so it won't be until at least tommorow."
