Where Mirage sleeps.

Mirage sat in the living room of her penthouse condo, staring at the teddy bear on her coffee table.  She had no idea where it had come from or even how it had managed to find its way into her place.  There were no notes attached to it, nothing.  What on earth could this thing mean?

With a sigh of frustration, Mirage slumped back on her couch.  She'd had a nice time with Lucas the day before, almost getting him to take her out on a proper 'date' but that had been interrupted.  She had been tempted to head back to Dragon and Tiger and see if she could persuade him for a drink.

Dons daughter Diantha had been occupying her thoughts since she returned home.  She loved holding the baby in her arms.  It wasn't that long ago that she'd yearned for a family of her own.  A good man to stand beside her and children to raise.  That probably wasn't going to happen now and seeing Don and Eleanor and the happiness between them, only made her own heartache that much worse.

Was there anything that she could do as Mirage to alleviate this pain?

as Helena is contemplating Her life and the teddy bear in front of her there is a knock at her door.

Mirage sat up and looked over at the door.  She wasn't expecting anyone, not at this hour.

She reached for her remote control and activated the security camera in the hallway, viewing the image on her large television screen.

Who would be calling on her at this hour?

On the screen sh esees nothing but a small gift box, the kind one would give jewlery in sitting in front of her door.

Mirage frowns at the screen, specifically at the gift box.

Her suspicious nature began to take over and she half expected the thing to explode.  Where did that come from?  She didn't know anyone who would send her jewellry.

After several minutes, Mirage decided to check the box out.  She moved to the front door and opened it.  Once more she stared at the gift box.  First a teddy bear, then a rose and now this.  What was going on?

It is a plain jewlery box with a note on top that says Kisses in well done curfvy Handwriting.
