"Before this goes down Lucas I have a request of you, would you be my best man? We're looking for a short engagement" Hunter had no idea what DF meant by 'those kids'. "What kids?"

If Dragon Fist hadn't been wearing his helmet, Hunter would see a look of surprise on Lucas' face.

"I....I'd be honored, Hunter.."

He then listend to Don's question about the kids.

"Hotwire, myself and the New Age Defenders tracked the Builder down to a hideout of his a while back. We dealt with him the first time, but we came to find out that he had been experimenting on kids. Mirage and I encountered two of them earlier, a young man and a young lady and they've both been messed up pretty bad. I swear, it was as if he had taken one of the kids that I teach at the dojo and did this to them."

Mirage gave both men a smile.  Hunter was getting married and Dragon Fist was going to be his best man.  That was really nice.  Mirage liked weddings.  There was something about two people declaring to the world that they were going to spend the rest of their lives together that she loved.  Hunter and Nora seemed good for each other and a stable family life would help Diantha.

She gave a small wave of her hand, not wanting to intrude on either Hunters request or Dragon Fists reveal.  She poked her head out to see where Martinez and Kellington had gotten to.

  Nokomis grinned at Mirage as she was headed toward them.  "Are you ready to speak with them?  We have them in separate rooms.  They were a little . . .reluctant . . . to come."

"I'm ready.." Dragon Fist replied. "Once we have our disguises in place, we'll talk with them, which won't take long. Mirage...are you ready?"

Dragon Fist had been a subject of Mirage's tailoring before. He was sort of hoping for that "personal touch" that she always provided when planting one of her disguises on him that she always provided.

Hunter nodded at the others. "Well then, lets 'suit up' an get to work"

Dragon Fist nodded, indicating that he was also ready to get this started as well.

"All right Mirage...suit us up and we'll get this show on the road.."

  Nokomis had been waiting when Jordan had come traipsing through in a hurry, and snagged her as backup.  She'd given the Legacy members a wave as she was hauled off.

Dragon Fist waved back as Nokomis was "dragged" away. Then he thought about the message that Ozzy had just given him. And under his helmet he smiled. He KNEW that Ozzy and the New Age Defenders would see things through.

"Hunter...Mirage...Operation Deep Cover is now in effect...I'm Maxim...Mirage is Domina...Hunter is....is...Ajax..."

Just as the team was about to 'put their game faces on' Jordan returned with Nokomi. Making his way over to the Legacy looking rather worried. "I need to talk to you guys, did you know those superkids, the New Age Defenders, are harboring a fugitive?"

Dragon Fist looked over at Jordan.

"Who is this person that they're harboring?" he asked, though it seemed that he almost knew the answer to that question.

"The kid's name is Jackson Pride, 17 years old, native of Philadelphia, high school track star, father was a detective Kevin Pride, killed in the line of duty. The kid killed his mother before dropping off the radar a few weeks back, apparently her heart was ripped out of her chest, the Philadelphia P.D. believe him to be a parahuman."

"Jordan....that kid didn't kill his mother...he was framed. In fact, that's what we're trying to do now. Get inside The Builder's organization, and then get the evidence we need to hopefully overturn their conviction. But we need time."

Dragon Fist paused for a moment.

"That kid has been messed over pretty bad. But we need time, Captain Jordan. We need time to find the prove that will satisfy the courts so that we can overturn his conviction. You know we've always been straight with you Jordan. I believe this kid...now it's just a matter of getting you to believe what I believe.."

Jordan frowned at DragonFists' explanation. "Framed? By who? And why would someone want to frame the kid for killing his mother? If this is a frame job its a proffesional job theres some pretty damning evidence against him mostly dna." The police captain sighed after a long moment of silence. "I was the only one who saw him I can keep my mouth shut but if anyone else finds out, my hands are tied and I'll have to bring him in."

"I know that I'm asking a lot, Captain. As for the evidence, that's what we're after. Either it was The Builder or someone who works for him."

"We can handle this Rick. We just need time. You stall things as much as you can on your end we'll track this bastard down. This kids been tortured. Rather badly If I understand correctly."

  Nokomis said quietly "Both of them had the body language that indicates they're abuse victims, the boy, and the young Asian lady who didn't make any eye contact with anyone.  She acts like a rape victim, Captain.  And she can't be THAT old."

Jordan frowned even deeper. "I'll do my best but-" When Nokomi mentions what she'd noticed Jordan lets out a string of expletives. "Is nothing sacred anymore. I'm getting tooold for this #$&%"

Dragon Fist turned to Mirage and Hunter.

"All right...we have some time. Let's make the most of it. Let's suit up, and get this show on the road. Unless anyone has any ideas they would like to contribute?"

Mirage waited silently off to one side.  She had nothing really to contribute to the discussion and her thoughts were on Builder and the plan that they had hastily put together.

She walked back towards the others, her image shimmering and changing with each step.  By the time that she had returned to Hunter and Dragon Fist, she was cloaked in her Domina disguise.  It was similar to what she had used at the Bertelli compound, a strict business skirt and suit with her hair pulled back.  She looked every bit the severe business woman, and that was the intention.

Mirage steped around Dragon Fist, lightly trailing her fingers along his shoulder as she did so.  His appearance changed to that of a larger man wearing a black suit, who could have passed for a member of the Secret Service.  She even added some sunglasses to make DF's Maxim appearance look a little more intimidating.

Then it was Hunters turn.  Mirage thought for a moment and then started to work.  If Maxim was the muscle and bodyguard, then Ajax was going to the weapon.  She gave him a similar appearance, though Ajax' jacket was leather, his head bald with a nice scar down one side to show that he was the sort who was used to action.

"There.  What do you think...Ajax?  Maxim?"

Dragon Fist felt Mirage's fingers trailing along his shoulders. They were like the smoothest silk, a welcome sensation. After she was done, he took a look at himself as "Maxim."

"Nicely done, Mirage....excellent work, as always..." he said, the smile evident in his voice. He then turned to Hunter, now known as "Ajax."

"All right...looks like we're in business..."

Hunter gave his new self a once over. "Very nice, I approve. Well now that we're all 'suited up' what do you say we get this show on the road?"

Dragon Fist looked at his bad reflection one more time.

"Let's do this..." he replied, anxious to take the fight to The Builder and hopefully help the two kids who had been his victims.

Mirage nodded and walked out of Nokomis' office.

She walked through the station with a self assured arrogance.  She was Domina of the Severed Rose after all.  She walked into the interrogation room where one of the men that they were looking for was seated.

"Maxim.  Disable the camera please." she said and turned to the prisoner.  "Do you know who we are?"

"Maxim" nodded and efficiently disabled the camera as Domina had asked him. Once he had completed his task, he then went and stood beside Domina as he looked at the individual who was present.
