Re: OOC

Lets try to house rule unlimited healing. And if that becomes a problem, we'll go back to normal.

You've brought up a few things to do IC, feel free to decide what you're doing.

And on that note, from now on, you will be accompanied by the somewhat altered Grettanah. So Grettanah, please let the others know of the differences that they should be aware of.

Excellent Thank you. Could I get an idea how badly injured the others are, using First aid for this.

Re: OOC

You've explored all of the top floor, except the area behind the fused doors, and just the initial room and this corridor of the bottom floor.

Re: OOC

OK, so let's continue to explore this floor once everyone is healthy.  We can take the containers of elemental water back to camp first, too.  We should stay together in case we get ambushed.

Re: OOC

Olven's pretty good at moving quietly.  Shall we scout individually, or move in a group for safety?  If in a group, Olven can go ahead a few yards.  We don't have a Stealth rating on the comparative chart, and that thing's pretty out of date now, with all the new PCs.

Re: OOC

I'm not sure how many sets of eyes we have, but I think we could get it done quicker by scouting individually, in cardinal directions.

Stealth is a required skill, so all characters should have it at 12+.

Re: OOC

Better take a buddy, just in case.

How many active PCs do we have?  If we're all here, then let's pair - up - Alexander and D'aden, Desidras and Grettanah, and Jeram and Olven.  One pair goes N, one goes ESE, and one goes WSW.  Scout for an hour.  If we see something, one person stays to observe, the other comes back to report.

In reply to Olven Wolf (msg # 779):

Why split up for that long, if there's anything out there that is sufficient to have spooked the mounts, it's probably not that far away so I doubt splitting up is prudent. Is there a breeze if so which way is it blowing from?

Re: OOC

There is a bit of a breeze, sort of following the road leading to the Lyceum.

In regard to the time, it's a little after 13.00 (1 pm). You might want to break for lunch while you're here too.

Re: OOC

Eh, D'aden suggested an hour. I'm not sure how much we can do with less time.

Lunch sounds great.  Let's break for 30 min., then scout for 30 min, and then get back to the Lyceum.

It may be that we're the ones spooking the horses.

Re: OOC

The camp is outdoors under a tree, close to a field. Not much of a complex.

Re: OOC

Which is in the Lyceum. As you were talking about the two as if they were two different things and there had been discussions about exploring the surroundings of the camp, that was the only conclusion I could make.

Boss, before we return to the Lyceum, let's spend an hour scouting around the camp.  Might as well scout in a group.

In reply to Olven Wolf (msg # 787):

If you are going to make statements that affect the party you should get feedback from us first.

Seeing how none of the PC's feel a need to reply to her question IC. Before lunch Grettanah instructions the caravan to leave immediately, any PC's wishing to accompany it can do so.

Re: OOC

Grettanah, D'aden proposed scouting around several days ago.  We've been discussing scouting.  Olven offered to scout by himself.  D'aden proposed scouting in four cardinal directions.  You said not to split the party.  As for the others, they haven't chimed in at all.  I'm trying to incorporate your idea (don't split up), D'aden's idea (scout), and my idea (let's get moving).

I'd love more feedback from our silent players. =)

That you did,  I too find it dull waiting for the others who appear reluctant to post. Perhaps we should venture forth ourselves.

What do the chains look like?  Are there manacles?  Keyholes?  Could we pull the chains out of the wall?
