Nodding, Olven says, "Do we want to hang onto these documents?  Anyone have anywhere safe to put them?" Once they're finished, he follows the others back into the hall, his spear in hand, once more taking up the rear guard.

Rolling the papers up, Olven hands them to Owain.  "OK, you can take them if you'd like," he says.  "Well, let's get going, then."

Re: The Lyceum (main)

The heroes left the room. The corridor continued to the left and there were a number of doors they hadn't explored yet. And to the right there were areas they had as yet not looked at.

The heroes went to the bend in the corridor. Three doors in the left wall after the turn and the corridor ending in the distance without other exits.

D'aden motions to go ahead, but is watching the other doors.

Re: The Lyceum (main)

Looking inside, they saw a room that seemed to be occupied, though no one was in the room at the moment. Candles were lit, there was a bed, a desk, a chest, and a closet.

The floor and walls were the same hewn stone they had seen elsewhere in the Lyceum. But the candles excuded a musty scent that was difficult to place.

"Check for valuables," he suggested. "It's not stealing if they're miscreants, and if they're not, we can always return them later with an apology."

"If they left the candles lit, they would intend to return soon. Perhaps awaiting them would be a better plan. They may have went to retrieve a valuable, and they may have a way to secure them so that we can claim more than we can carry."

"For an abandoned arcane repository, there sure is a lot of traffic around here," Olven says.  "Let's search the room quickly and continue on." He walks into the room and begins searching for items of interest.

"Found a couple of things here.  A composite bow and quiver, some clothes, a decorated halberd."  He brings out the weapons.  "Should we leave 'em here or take them with us?  D'aden, any idea what these are worth?"

"Let me take a look at it, but if you don't mind my saying so, taking items from what appears to be a person's dwelling feels a bit like thievery. I don't like feeling that way."
D'aden will examine the bow, wondering both about what it's worth and how long has it been here.

"Meh. Unless they're magical, they're not worth much, relatively. I say it's better to keep the goodwill of the occupant and leave them. And I don't think even if the fancy halberd is magical, it'd be very useful. Not many use that weapon.

"Shall we continue to the next door?"

"Considering what we've seen thus far, I wonder why anyone would leave these things behind, especially with no lock. I'll step out and watch while you decide what to do."
D'aden places the bow on the desk, and moves to leave the room. It is apparent he's ready to move on.
