The water elementals did not reply. Instead they attacked.

WE1 slapped Grettanah for 6hp.
WE2 slapped D'aden, but he was able to dodge the blow.
WE3 slapped Olven, but he to avoided being hit.
WE4 slapped Des, who expertly avoided the slap.

D'aden skips back, and chides at the water, "Either you calm your wet selves down or I swear I'll throw dirt in you."
Then edges towards towards Grettanah in an attempt to make sure she's not seriously injured.

"Fine.  If you want to play rough, you'll find plenty here," Olven Wolf says, stepping back towards Grettanah even as he attacks the closest water creature.  His axe flashes through the air at the elemental once, then again.

Re: The Lyceum III (main)

Des punched one of the elementals twice and it felt like hitting hardened water, but the second strike brought the elemental to the ground.

Grettanah sat on the floor with her back against the wall and D'aden took his time trying to make sure how serious it was.

Olven Swung his axe twice against the elemental facing him, it sort of felt like swinging his axe through water, but slower. He hit both times.

One Water elemental stepped forward towards Grettanah and kicked her, but with luck beyond luck he hit the shield strapped to her arm.

Another followed D'aden, but its slap missed. And the one attacking Olven did likewise.

WE1 On Grettanah
WE2 On D'aden
WE3: On Olven
WE4: Was on Des. Prone; likely stunned, but could be heart attack, agony, choking, daze, or ecstasy.

[OOC: As I forgot to take Grettanah's shield into account last attack, it saves the day this attack.]

Re: The Lyceum III (main)

Another two swipes of Olven's axe sailed through the elemental's water as he better positioned himself near the healer.

Grettanah rose to her feet.

Des crouched and punched again. The water elemental did not try to evade the strike.

D'aden moved and sliced his sword through the water elemental facing him, the movement of the sword feeling like it does when swung in water.

Olven used his shield to block the elemental's strike.

But Grettanah wasn't as lucky and her elemental struck her again, despite her efforts to avoid the attack. And she collapses on the ground. (Lose 7hp)

And D'aden received a wet slap too (lose 4 hp).

WE3: On Olven
WE4: Was on Des. Prone; likely stunned, but could be heart attack, agony, choking, daze, or ecstasy.

Re: The Lyceum III (main)

Olven kept attacking the water elemental, the first swing connected, but the second did not, while taking up a defensive position over Grettanah.

At the same time Des was meditating and D'aden retreated, having sheathed his sword.

Two of the elementals now focused their efforts on Olven. But one of them missed and Olven blocked the other's attack with his shield.

One elemental swiped at D'aden, but missed.

The last elemental swiped at Des, but not only did he avoid the swipe, his will kept an iron hold on his concentration

The heroes kept fighting. Des flew through the air and delivered what would have been a devastating kick with little impact.

Another two swings of Olven's axe brought a second elemental to the ground.

And D'aden clumsily stumbled towards Grettanah.

Des parried the elemental's swung arm.

D'aden dodged the arm of the other elemental.

Even as he moves to Grettanah, D'aden begins to ready his staff. Apparently he has decided that slicing the things with steel didn't work, so he'll try hitting them with wood. But he'll try that after he does what he can to aid the damaged acolyte.
