I haven't heard from her in about three months. Depending on how you interpret what she wrote, there may have been a death in her family. Or at least someone wasn't doing well and didn't get better.

Sorry, yup, my mother passed away. I wasn't dealing with it great, and as soon as I was back in a good mental state I ended up coming down with the worst viral infection I've ever had in my life.

Losing a parent is difficult at any age, To make it worse, most of us are parent's before we lose our own. Leaves us looking for something, somewhere to lean on.

I'm working with a few players, so hopefully we'll have the group reinforced soon.

Finally, a doc that knows their stuff. It's not an abnormally long cold (6 weeks and running), it's pneumonia.

I'm glad you know what it is. Even if it was bad news. I hope you get well soon.

Aerynn is one of several people I'm working with to add to your group.

Pneumonia just means "inflammation of the lungs", not indicating cause and therefore solution. Usually, doctors just throw antibiotics at it. If the root cause is viral or fungal, or some sort of macroparasite, the antibiotic is a waste of time.
