This will be a dungeon-crawl game using the Basic/Expert/Companion/Masters/Immortal rulebooks, compiled in the Rules Cyclopedia.

Characters will start at 1st level, and the game will begin with the PCs standing outside the castle ruins, with equipment and henchmen (if desired).  All dice rolls will be made in the open and character death is a near certainty, epecially at lower levels.  A character be raised if his companions can get him to a cleric and pay the fee, or a new character can be generated and plunked into the party.

Character development will happen on the fly - no need for a fleshed out background or personality.
