Greetings fellow supreme beings. I wish to honor you all with this greeting on this day of our creation.

Vaughn had a quick look at the other gods, but they all seemed like empty canvases to him. Probably because Vaughn himself was an empty canvas right now, oozing with power but yet with no focus for it.

An amorphous blob enters the void. For the briefest of moments hands form from the formless shape… a paintbrush and a chisel can be perchance glimpsed for just a moment, before they lose consistency.

The being then alters his shape into a series of basic geometric figures: a triangle, an octagon, a rhombus. Lastly a pentagram appears from which ten tentacles like projection emerges, five on opposing sides of the other five. Some of these gesticulate up and down in a wave like gesture, while the lower five move the larger geometric figure about. It is almost like the movements of bees among the hive, when nectar bearing flowers have been discovered… well, if the viewer knew of bees, and the waggle dance they make.

To those that do not know, it seems strange perhaps.

To some these movements might reflect the newbie status of the being at present.

Arcturus ponders the other beings before him. Which will be allies and which foes? He looks out into the void, soon to be filled with his creation and smiles.


I thank you for your greetings and humbly extend my own to you.

So much potential about!  What will we make?  Have you all floated...dwelt...existed... here (somewhere) long?

I've just arrived, I think.

"I... I don't think I have... I know very little currently... I know I am Vaunht... and I know I have the power to create and crush..."

"Yes my brethren, come and we shall create wondrous things. Together we shall rule this Void with naught but the almighty Ao above us." Masmorda was pleased with her statement, not knowing how she knew of Ao and that they were more powerful than all of them combined.

I am Rhullarrk. Greetings to my fellow creators. I look forward the unleashing of all our imaginings, be they fierce or humble, beautiful or ugly. Let us go make something new.

Osalus!  So nice to see more movement in the void!  Clearly, we are of the same mind in this!

Eregor, yes I also appreciate your heat. I am curious if we could spread your weather through out the void.

Thank you my brethren for the help with my creation. I am happy we can work together to shape this void how we will like it.

The twittering of the other gods roused Ferenghir from their slumber. Sparks of insight and magic, melodies of gratitude and cooperation danced in the void between the gods, and it was beautiful.

"It appears we missed much in our slumber. Thank you for waking us. It truly is a wondrous thing we all are creating."

The mercury-like surface of Ferenghir's convex face rippled into a simulacrum of joy.

Osalus eyes the moons feeling his curious growing. Interesting... I wonder... perhaps I shall explore those later..

The tranquil surface of Ferenghir's face depressed in slightly.

"Perhaps it is the fate of all children to be misunderstood by their fathers, even with one such as the All-Father."

The depression soon shot up, dislodging a ball of their viscous face and sprinkling down in titillating droplets.

"Or perhaps we have a lot to learn. We sought only to find the words, the lines, the points between space to define this joyous of bonds that connect us. An homage to the All-Father. Or perhaps... an inside joke among His children."

The liquid of Ferenghir's face swirled into a slow, gelatinous whirlpool.

"Such fun, such beauty."

"If no one objects, my next actions will  be to establish years and seasons by having the world revolve around the sun, and then lock in such finer actions as the moons movements with the core to help form weather patterns and tidal flow. This shall free the rest of you to concentrate on other more important matters."

Do as you wish. Osalus says, it continues to speak drifting as it does through the area. I like the forest, and I might create something similar later...

Oh I think all of our actions are important, Kargous, shaping the void as they do!  They are all so lovely so far!

I am sorry for my poor fellows who have faced the wrath of Ao!  But I thank you for the lesson you've given the rest of us to take care in defining our creations!

I have named our planet Oceaus, which I hope all find pleasing.  I find names make things easier to define, especially should we feel the need for other planets to be born from the dark void.

Osalus eyes Eregor or at least it lingers its gaze upon its fellow. Interesting lifeforms you have made. I might try my own turn at crafting life soon...

Vaunht expresses approval to Osalus' compliment about the forest he created. "I believe that we must keep a balance between order and chaos. If we were to think as one mind, then Oceaus wouldn't be half as interesting as it could. Let us continue working together, but without being together".

Arcturus!  You should not give up such a powerful act!  It seems to me that very few living, moving creatures exist.  The poor Quajrils and the Amaroks will be devoured by the Chigon who have nothing else to eat!

Use your creation act to make more varied life upon Oceaus!

Oceaus is a beautiful and apt name for this fine planet. I too am curious about the triple moons and how they might interact with such a watery world. It seems a shame though that they might remain barren of life though...

I am sure that one will change that. It seems that has crossed the mind of several other creators.

Within the Void, a new God manifested itself shortly after the appearance of the others albeit not by much. As such, the deity decided to adapt a more boyish persona, his voice young but enthusiastic and cheery. "Hello Void and all who inhabit it! I'm Savios!" For now, he appeared as a glowing multi-colored sprite, the outline of a vaguely-humanoid figure (whatever that was) clad in fascinating and brilliant colors accompanied by the sound of wings fluttering at hyperspeed. In a blur, the flying deity watched in awe as his fellow creators shaped and formed the Void, curiously studying each creation to try and draw inspiration for his own. "Hmm... I'll be right back!" he piped up after catching up on all the creations, a metaphysical light bulb going off over his head though it looked more like one of the stars that peppered the Void and spread heat and light throughout its vastness.

Ferenghir's liquid face trembled with energy. "The addition of an atmosphere was such a kind gift to us, Rhullarrk. We thank you, truly, and look forward to what the future holds."

They bowed gracefully to the echoes in the once-empty void. "I apologize if my own creatures function nothing like our brethren's. Of course it is up to the All-Father. We merely shape and wait on His guiding hand, don't we?"

Arcturus chuckles to himself. Yes perhaps to some it might seem an odd choice, and yet we have seen things go awry when others have acted hastily. Better to wait and carefully consider before acting. Waiting for the passage of time is nothing to beings like us.

Welcome young Savios. I am delighted by your Auroras. In gratitude to your contribution, I think I shall bless your Yandee.

"Behold my brothers and sisters! For I have created a new planet for us to create on and play with. Behold it and rejoice with me. Rejoice in the creation of Niman!" Masmorda cries to her brethren, hoping they will be pleased by her new creation.

Osalus looks up slightly interested, and turns its attention back to his creations on the world already made. I will explore it later... there is still much to do, but I am curious to see what will become of that one too.

"Vaunht, your Tree of Knowledge is..." Ferenghir searched for the words as ripples cascaded across their face. "...Colorful. Such bright, fierce emotions come from the Yandee. I wonder of their impact on the other races."

Osalus turns to Ferenghir I find it worrying. Interesting though, how they use it will be the most facinating thing I think.

Fenrenghir your moons grow ever more interesting. I look forward to the day when the races of Oceaus are able to reach the moons and discover the magic waiting for them.

I thank you, Osalus, for the gift you have bestowed upon my Amoroks. I am sure that it is a skill that they will pass on for generations.

Osalus looks at Narcissa, It seemed something that would benefit both. I am interested to see what they do with it.

"Fear not my brothers and sisters, I have not abandoned Oceaus, I am just focusing on my newest creation for the moment. Niman is a good planet as well. Please brethren, treat it well when it does draw your interest."

The real question is do I make my own intelligent life or not... hmmm  Osalus thinks out loud.

"There are many kinds of intelligence, to say nothing of awareness. The question is, not only of creating one, but  to what degree. I believe I shall create some form of completely aware beings soon, to help in my labors.”

As to what kind of beings though Kargous does not elaborate.

"We have created Mana, but in doing so, we have created that which sows seeds of chaos. We have spoken to the Krys of Celestia, and though our message may end up distorted on Azul and Gael, it is our hope that the Krys might guide the other races in their exploration of Mana."

Ferenghir fanned out their tendrils of light in an exhausted stretch. Creation seemed easy compared to speaking directly to mortals.

"Narcissa, we are in awe of the Amarok's perseverance in the ice, such a lovely substance. It is our hope that they take the newfound powers of their trees and apply it to the transportation properties it already posessed."

I hope that the creatures on Gale will help unite them if... the worst happens. But we shall see what happens. That is half the fun! Osalus says over joyed to see what happens next.

And Ao calls for a vote, will the current Aeon end in three Days time? Let the the will of the gods be made known and let them state their cases if they wish to influence their peers to their cause. The majority will determine whether the Aeon closes on the third Day or if it shall continue.

Masmorda votes yes for the Aeon to end in three days.

"Indeed. Much has been created and three days should suffice. One planet remains to be touched by all of our Acts, however."

Ferenghir votes yes.

Three days time is sufficient for those task I wish to accomplish, and thus I also vote yes.

Agreed. The time should come when our creations will fend for themselves. Let the Aeon end.

I would also vote yes, three days should be enough to still accomplish much.

I am not opposed to ending in three days, but I wouldn't mind a day or two more....

I have no qualms with ending the Aeon soon.  I too am curious to know how the mortals will fare in our time of slumber.

"I shall hope that three days are enough to right my wrongs, as I wish not to go against your judgement who seem to be what most of us agree upon."

I do not oppose ending the first Aeon in three days!

And so by the will of the gods the Aeon will end on 5/14/20.

Savios, a teenager still, appeared in his dazzling emerald cloak, hood over head as the appearance of a Yandee seemed to fade away into nothingness. "That should be fine, right?" he inquired, not to anyone in particular, but to any god who was willing to catch him. To the mortals, of course he was calm and composed, a proper and divine figure, but to the Gods and under the looming eyes of Ao, he had seen what his Wrath could do. He seemed to pace in place around a little pocket of clouds that sparkled with his auroras, murmuring to himself in deep thought. What had his actions set forth? Did he do any good, or did he harm the mortals? The Aeon was almost over already! He felt like he had just been born yesterday! Well, he almost had been, right -- or was it a week now, or a month? Hmm.

Osalus yawns having taken the form of a massive Salu Ice Serpent, turning to Eregor, it says "I enjoy your creation the Norla'val. I had considered something like that they please me greatly." turning to Ferenghir it continues, "I also like your Mana ring it is quite beautiful." to the rest of the gods it says "I look forward to seeing what you all make and what happens while we sleep."

Kargous, thank you for your generous gift to the Quarjil of the Inner Seas, it makes me glad to think that they are now equipped to survive during the long sleep of the gods.

Osalus rumbles shaking off a yawn. "Have any of you thought of forming a pantheon? I hope the creatures of Gale don't cause problems while we sleep."

”I have thought of it, and have considered it as a possibility. I find myself increasingly preferring subtlety, even though I have not always achieved it, so I would be a quiet maker to whatever endeavors I linked myself with.

As Kargous speaks he takes some matter from the constantly shifting plates and begins to fashion himself a dais, and then  a chair.

”I also have a strong disliking for this magic that has been manifested on the worlds. I cannot quite formulate to the why, but it seems to me to be a undesireable thing, even disregarding the manipulative powers that the magic of the two moons have. If Gale were to be destroyed utterly, and it would gladden me if it were so, my opinion would not alter. Thus, I might abstain from any act that involves this power in any form.”

There was a slight emphasis on ‘might’, meaning that Kargous had not entirely made up his mind on the subject, and perchance strong argument might shift his perspective on certain forms of magic, or used in certain ways, but so far he was moving towards a mental framework against the use of mana.

For those gods that might contemplate such things, it might seem that Kargous was interested in only six rudimentary factors and in those only. The first four would be easy enough to guess, but the other two, not so much.

Osalus shrugs, "I believe I have a solution for the Mana of Gale, but it will be a bit before I get to it. I have a few things to do yet. Of course others actions always change what we can and can't do."

Other divine beings might involve themselves in the issue, but Kargous would not; by his words he would not.

Let it be known that Arcturus, Masmorda and Rhullarrk lie on the brink of PARADOX and will be consumed lest they Act by 5/22/20.

Ah, how grand it feels to awaken after such a long rest. I’ve learned that some of you have reached out to speak with me privately and I just realized this! I apologize for my lack of response.

A god cannot both exist and not exist and so Rhullarrk and Masmorda are consumed by PARADOX.

A new god rises to replace one of the lost: Vor.

Within the echoes of Creation, a slow exhalation announced the manifestation of Vor, an elephantine God-beast whose twin trunks quested and sniffed symbolically at the Void. Their aged ivory trunks gleamed with frost despite the patina of star-burns upon them; their leathery hide was marked with the scars of comets and ice, wreathed in a halo of void-mist. Upon their body and about their waist hung a multitude of tools and instruments, as if made for smaller hands than they themselves possessed

They stood, still for a moment, and then trumpeted a greeting to their predecessors - siblings perhaps, "Father Ao, I wake. I wake and I am Vor"

Osalus growls at Vor, "You gave out my creation? Without asking? You are bold and brash Vor!"

The recent vents had disturbed the harmony that Ferenghir had thought the gods had been engaged in.

"Kargous, we were never quite clear on your fixation against magic. It seems that in enacting your plans, you cause the suffering you had wanted to avoid. Magic is indeed wild, but perhaps we should all focus on nurturing our creations and teaching them how to temper that chaos, rather than destroy it completely."

Turning to Vor, Ferenghir waved a starlit tendril. "It is good to see a new god with a thirst for creation. We believe Metal Runecrafting will play an integral role in the safe mastery of Mana and magic. If you ever desire help in seeing this come to fruition, please seek us out."

At the furious outburst from Osalus, Vor's trunks stiffened and their ears flapped with suppressed agitation, but the smooth interjection of their more nebulous sibling prevented any rash retort. No, instead they nodded once in thanks to Feneghir and spoke softly, "All things under Creations belong to Father Ao, regardless of their nature. All are ripe for our meddling, but the wild nature of this mana brought forth by you Elderlings errs too much to entropy and chaos"

Their words seemed to be thanks and admonishment and agreement wrapped in one

The liquid mercury dome of Ferenghir's face rippled in amusement. "Chaos, perhaps, but entropy, no. You will come to find mortal life seeks out chaos on its own accord."

Ferenghir caressed a tendril of light against one of Vor's trunks. "To what end do you Act? We see the beauty of our fellow gods and their powers and seek to mimic that in the Void. We gifted all of our creations with the opportunity for magic—their little Acts—as an homage to our own Acts.

"Control is an illusory gift bestowed upon us by Ao. There is beauty in cooperation, Vor, to Act when we can, affect what we must, and allow our creations to dance their own beautiful dances upon the tapestry of existence."

"To what end?", considered the elephantine power thoughtfully, "Why my own whim, the same as each of the children of Father Ao"

They made no reaction to the unasked for caress, for it told him something of the other's nature and that was message enough. But they did pay heed to the words, the setting out of a stall selling cooperation and harmony

"Your argument is one of ownership, a communal playground", they finally suggested, "Whereas my whim is to come to know our Father, to seek his face. There need not be conflict in our intents"

And Kargous thought to himself, and after a time voiced his thoughts aloud “Let's consider for a moment, the three moons.
What happens on one is altered slightly and then happens on the other two.  We have encountered this in all cases, regardless of what has been created. If we then take this to its logical conclusion, then the mana that occurs in a singular form on Celestia must be added to in some way to form the different types of mana we find.  The question then becomes what is the substance added to the mana or by what form does it  become transformed to  become the other kinds of mana with the different properties it has on the other two moons? This is a matter worth investigating is it not? Should not a place be devised for us to study such matters, we, who despite our powers are not always full of understanding?”

What great changes have come this Aeon! So many artifacts and magical gifts! I am enjoying seeing how the mortals react to all our creations.

Ferenghir's dome face swirled in a gentle whirlpool. "Our latest creation, the Tricolor Mana Orb, fell onto Yazul, and the Wrath-touched Krys seem to have their ambitions set on utilizing that power. It is... concerning."

Let it be known that the gods Vaunht, Ferenghir, Narcissa and Osalus have joined together to form the PANTHEON OF UNITY. Let them join their works for a greater purpose and woe unto them should their union fail.

" Thank you mighty Ao, and may their  ventures be many and prosperous."

Let the gods voice their will, shall the Aeon end in three Days time? Then the Last Aeon will begin.

If it pleases the Gods, and mighty Ao,  I request a fourth day, to complete what I would like to accomplish before I slumber. Obviously I shall bow to the will of the greater number.

"I, too, would seek a fourth day", trumpeted Vor

I can complete my tasks in the final three days. I vote for it to end after three days.

Ao's whims will come to bear should the Aeon continue longer. Such chaos right before the Aon ends may bode poorly for our plans.

I will stand by Vor and Kargous, and ask our father for one more day.

Kargous, we weep at the folly of your latest Acts. Oceaus now suffers greatly, and the Aeon is soon to end. You tempt chaos and destruction with the invitation of Ao's Wrath.

"I weep with you. Perhaps it will serve as a lesson for the future of the danger of overstepping. That was not my desire, nor my goal, but still it is my folly and my shame. Ao was kind to let me have a chance to  aid in building   a world. It has brought me as much joy as sorrow.

It was my hope that I could build a world where mortals did not depend on magic, as they have on others.

It was my hope that through my children I could let  all mortals know of the joys of building with their whit and their hands alone.

Oh how I hoped.

But now that long call has caught up with me. I a mortal given the brief powers of a god. I go to answer that call now.  I go having given up hope, and offer it to you that remain alone.

Now I go."

Kargous bows to his peers.

Kargous bows to Ao.

Kargous takes two steps to his left, and his form seems to ripple, as water does when some object is tossed into it, and Kargous is no more.

With the passing of Kargous the vote is tipped towards the closing of the Aeon. The current Age shall end at the twilight of 5/30/20. May the gods plan their final acts well.

Bowing their head, Vor marked the passing of their brother with sadness

Strange, thought Ferenghir. To see a god undone. Moreso to see one bear their unfulfilled hopes and ambitions. And as such, Ferenghir could now feel the walls the other gods had built around their own hopes. Such was the way, they supposed, for they were all equally powerful but all unique in personhood and whimsy.

What great and terrible things have happened this Aeon! May our creations grow and become greater while we slumber. Until we meet again fellow deities.
