As mentioned in the other game but repeated here for good measure, I may be sporadic or unavailable this next week (13 thru 17 of January 2014).

Re: Who's waiting on whom? ((OOC))

Quick recap, looks like this project is extended and I have to go to more sites, expect another week of absenteeism and then some until it ends in February.

At this point I'm waiting for replies from John and Jake, and maybe for O'Rourke to get up here and start speaking, rather than monopolizing the conversation, as I assume we're still in combat rounds.

Re: Who's waiting on whom? ((OOC))

Eh, I think combat rounds have pretty much collapsed your side of the house - consider yourselves out of rounds for now.

Waiting on John is good sense, as Jingles is sort of his villian, though Evans can voice objection (or not) to the Dust Adders planning cold-blooded murder right in front of him if he likes. Jake, his player being in London, is Over There, and so probably won't do anything but go inside at the first opportunity, muttering to himself.

O'Rourke went 'round back to help William (pursued by the nasty in the hopes he'll drop his light) and Alouette is sort of stuck until y'all are in, the spirit loses its grip, or the Vampadders shoot it to bits (the guy on the barn is currently working his way down).

edit: Oh, and Adrian might be able to recognise Evans now he's inside, if our garlicky buddy hasn't gone into the library already. Evans, Jake & John (and Alouette, if y'all call it in) will move onto that inside thread once they finish messing about on the threshold and get the damn door shut.

I've come down with the flu, so I'm not going to have the energy for much posting this weekend. Feel free to autopilot Evans if he's holding things up.

Re: Who's waiting on whom? ((OOC))

Alouette, are you waiting for me? William doesn't want to leave a family relation of Marina alone and unwatched. Anybody could come by and pull that stake from the chest... on the other hand, I have no means of killing Arthur by myself.
I could try cutting off his head with the bowie knife and see if that works. :-)

Re: Who's waiting on whom? ((OOC))

I am...the priest is sort of occupied trying to extricate Alouette from under a bunk and not get ambushed at the same time.

William can stand around and wait if he likes, but the other vampires might have a better plan by then...as for the knife, it'd probably get stuck in Arthur since greaters heal so fast, but if he went and found a plank or something to sharpen up that damage might last long enough.

That should be changing soon. As soon as I've got The Last Sons rolling again, I'll also get the mine thread back into gear.

I've volunteered to help babysit Wildcat, which should help. Ya should've said you were about; I'd have handed you Seven or someone.

Be sure you've caught all the Joker chips, too: there were a bunch in a row.

Re: Who's waiting on whom? ((OOC))

Yesterday, at 8:21 our second daughter Matilda Philippa was born.
She weighed 3130grams and is 52.5cm long.
Mom and child are both well.

I'm not sure how much time I'll have to post in the next few days, if I hold anything up, feel free to ghost me. ;-)

Many congratulations to the both of you - tell Matilda her arrival is welcomed around the world and your wife that random strangers think she's awesome. Certainly don't worry about gaming!

Yes, he shall. I've been a bit preoccupied this weekend with the live Call of Cthulhu game that I run, but I will be back in action shortly.

[sage nod] It is easy to get preoccupied with Cthulhu.
