Re: Who's waiting on whom? ((OOC))

Oh, waiting for Murphy and Henry? They came back with Wildcat ages ago.

Recap ahoy!:
- Carl and Murphy went down the mine to catch a shaman with a photograph that made the local Comanche warriors immortal.

- two hours and a lot of rock-moving later, they were joined by Ward, Augustus &co., who had come to put an end to the power of the Serpent God rumoured to be "sleeping" somewhere down there, aware that the Comanches were trying to awaken Yig Tezcatlcoatl and bring Him to His full power.

- At this point they were interrupted by an angry Bone Fiend and a bunch of skellingtons, all with bones on.

- These subdued, the party patched themselves up, swapped information and discussed next moves.

- startled onward by voices and movement, Mike and Augustus hung back to test Augustus' sonic weapons against the bulletproof Comanche and met up with Charging Bear, fresh back from Unknown Kadath the Hunting Grounds with ghost Dust Adder buddy Jeb. They came back with Comanche weapons and the news that stunning sonics worked.

- Everyone hung about a bit more whilst Augustus made a bigger better semi-sonic weapon for last-ditch boom-throwing. CB and Jeb the ghost went off scouting.

- Spanish Joe, already acting skittish, noticed activity further back by putting his ear to the ground. Murphy and Heavy Henry dropped back to investigate and returned with Wildcat the Texas Ranger.

- Augustus finished his boominatory device. The party started off on the fastest way to stop the shaman, according to advice from Wildcat's mysterious native source.

- Jeb floated back, yelling about CB being attacked by a bad cloud.

- Omnes (unless Augustus stayed behind unnoticed) rushed up to help.

- There was no CB, but there was a smell of something with no buisness being there - Cloreen the Gas! Ward called a halt and a backing-off.

- Wildcat respectfully ignored him and went on. Carl followed.

...and that's where we're at on the Mine thread. Adrian, as you have some of the Dust Adders, feel free to prod them into motion.

Okay, I think I've figured it out.  I was waiting on someone to say they were grabbing me.

Would Pummel, with a sonic trapping, be able to drive back gas?

Yo, CB, you about? If so, any reaction to Wildcat? Waiting to see what Jake does, too.

Sarah, if the answer is 'no' I'll get that scene shifted so's you've got a more interesting environment/new choices to play with.

Sorry, I missed the last post, and I'm buried under homework.  This week is two midterms and a major paper.  I'll try and get something going later tonight.

2-3 paces? Adrian'd be standing in the way having moved the table.

The puppy he's got is likely protesting about Jackie chupe's proximity, though.

Using the now-redundant door you came in turns you towards the front of the house. I'll get you and Jake (on the other side) a new thread up tomorrow, goats allowing.

General prod note

Yo, Jake, going to interact with kitchen people/share information down there?

Evans' info will be available as soon as I get my act together...may be tommorrow at this rate, since data entry has KO'd my brain.

Also, Sarah, your thread is important for the timing of the others, so next you're around...don't forget her chips, either.

Um ... which thread is the kitchen?

Honestly Jake has little interest in what's happening around him and might just try and leave ... again ... I think.

On the And The Crows... thread, where I directed you before: there's an intro post for Jake there 3-4 library posts back.

He's welcome to continue to try and get himself killed by wandering around at random outside (seriously, where does he think he's going to go? Not that there aren't interesting things to meet out there) but y'know, he only just came in...ignoring/annoying our friendly neighbourhood vampire to do so, so...

Sarah has brought y'all an extra 15 minutes as the Scaly Lad delegates and finds some paper (I am going to have to work up a profile for him, yes) but we're pretty much just needing everyone pointed in the right direction to get going.

Oh, and Adrian, that cake's nearly ready, if you're not too distracted by the book eating your soul.

Martha Bruebaker:
"Who will you take?" Mrs. Bruebaker asks soberly. "Much as I'd like to give the savages a seeing-to, I don't want to take the girls into that mess, Glenn's injured and the old miner's sick; some of us will need to stay, I think."

William is still outside, looking for the last vampire(s). If you want, we can shorten this and have him return to the others, have the vampire resolved off-screen. Unless there's more...

Re: General prod note

Ah! Sorry, I didn't know that you were waiting on something.

The vampire is probably to the ocean by now - there was more than one zombie horse, after all. If Jake had been in a more information-sharing mood y'all might have worked that out. 8-ball, did Jackie manage to catch up with them? Or were they too speedy?

Alouette got the result "Don't count on it" on the magic 8-ball. can a zombie horse outrun a chupe?

That vampire is unlikely to be a problem to you.

Re: General prod note

That's why the horse the vampire was using a) wasn't freaking out at the proximity of a vampire like all natural creatures observed thus far and b) didn't move/react when the rider fell off in the stampede or when Jake was hiding and watching.

Pierce saw another one being nibbled on by the crowlets earlier (it's still standing out front, actually), the Exposition Pony was one until the dogs killed by Vinny got at it, and the NPCs have mentioned that the vampires killed most of the horses in the corral...Whateley was an experienced necromancer as well as a demonologist: the vampire cowboys needed something to ride when they planned to demolish the ranch's wards by stampeding cattle over them, so he told them to slaughter their beasts and brought them back.
