Charging Bear's apparent non-recognition of a habit anyone picks up on their first time cuffed and unattended (and yes, it is painful to do) has scored a point for his innocence in Carl's eyes there, though he really can't work out what it is the native's looking around for. Strangers being nice to him when he's shivering or otherwise just isn't something he's used to.

Also, is anyone here good at horse colouration? I just realised I swapped between descriptions of Hoss at some point and I know so little of horses I'm not sure which is right, even with pictures. She's a dusty gingery-brown, similar/slightly darker mane and tail, which I think falls under 'roan' but orange could be 'sorrel'...no matter if not, I know I have prop obsession.

Indeed! Gus has been through a disarming once today (when Gangatsu slapped his arm with her sword). He's not eager to have it happen again.

It's gonna be awhile before I roll that high again. Ah well. At least John is glad, he'd have no choice but to disarm the man and then who knows what sort of reaction he'd have be it violent or otherwise which would mean more delays and complications. John is relieved he relented, it's the player that wanted to see those rolls put to use :P

Well, to be fair, all I asked you to roll was an Agility check in case you needed to interrupt an action. Still, I can see how it would be frustrating to have some nice, high rolls not turn out to be useful. But hey...at least he backed down. Even Gus is not thick enough to cause too much trouble in a confined coach...the only reason he drew his gun at all was because of shock.

I know. I just wanted everything there and at the ready. Either way, it's done and I'm more interested in John getting to Xhang than picking a fight.
