Aye, but people only started thinking the nameless monster was called "Frankenstein" after Boris Karloff as said monster appeared on posters screaming "FRANKENSTEIN", causing folk to confuse the two...Frankenstein in the book is about Jake's build and prone to nervous breakdowns, the poor faintly incestuous daftie, wheras the monster is an uncanny valley-inducing yellowy-grey dude built on a statuesque scale.
On a tangent, my undergraduate dissertation supervisor worked on the initial excavation of the laboratory complex of Crosse, the English scientist who inspired Frankenstein. He had a "lightning-collecting" device! Nothing above-ground, but the geophysical survey shows the place up as just a mass of metallic stuffs and funny buisiness.
