Out Of Character: The Circle W Ranch ((OOC IV))

Wow. This is the 4th OOC thread I've made for this game. The Lodge of The Enlightened is reaching the 1000 post limit. I wonder what I'll name the next thread...

Anyhoo, resume posting OOC comments here!

Re: Out Of Character: The Circle W Ranch ((OOC IV))

I think that means you have to do some sort of dance...

Carl's last card pulled was 3S, it says right there - think that means the giant psycho gets to hit him some more before he can do anything about it...also, I think Murphs should get an instant chip from heaven since you have a summary and Murphs needs chips.

For some reason I now expect Wildcat to pull a string of really nice trade beads from one of her many pockets.

Murphy, take 1 Random chip for having to deal with several problems at once.

Wildcat, take one Blue chip for your awesome summary. I know how hard it can be for writers to deliberately misspell words for effect.

The speech is bad enough, writing for her is even worse.  The more I look at the world from Alouette's perspective the more my head hurts.

It's become a recurring joke at this point.  It was originally meant to be a character trait of sorts (an inappropriately sincere and gentle salutation next to her moniker says a lot) but it just turned into a gag.

Re: Out Of Character: The Circle W Ranch ((OOC IV))

Oh, the clank's perspective's what's on the punchcards there, nice and neat, logged and summarised - I was not writing all that witter out, hell no.

As for the Hawk, it's just wacked out on its bindings (and suffering severe PTSD), that's about as much sense as it makes to itself...

This is a Ranger who's weaponised hugs, though.

And angel clanks.  At least once I find an ax handle.  May have to whittle the ends down so Alouette can hold it...

Re: Out Of Character: The Circle W Ranch ((OOC IV))

It's actually very elegant, hand-wise, part of its whole "impossible obsessively-worked tech" shtick...whilst it probably couldn't deal with guns very well (if at all) you could probably get it to grip the thinner end of an axe handle without issue...it'd just be explaining the concept of deliberately hurting people with it that'll be tricky.
