OOC: When you spend a chip for a reroll, you reroll all the spent on the soak...even chips spent to increase the total.

You get to reroll that blue and add it to your final total.

((OOC: Well that sucks. Sorry, man.))

"He's tougher than army hardtack." Danny grunts. "I'm thinkin' we should've left him alone...Hey! I have an idea! Hit him with the lamp! Set him on fire again!"

Hearing that, the giant looks at the glowing lamp in Jake's hand. "Nooooooooooo," he moans, and slams his fist hard into Jake's temple.

((OOC: Mr. Lurch is single-minded. he's going to continue pounding on Jake.

05:46, Today: Mr. Lurch rolled 1,11 using d8,d6, rerolling max with rolls of 1,(6+5)11. Lurch Smash! Why does the dice roller hate you so? That's a hit and raise.

Re: Chapter 14.4: Shootout at the Weeping Moon Lodge

Jake throws the lamp to Danny. "You see if you can hit one of 'em... aim for the middle one!" he says in a slur. He takes a few steps away from the big fisted man.

Danny is having a bad day...
OOC:
12:59, Today: Jake Lawrence rolled 3,3 using 1d8+2,1d6+2, rerolling max with rolls of 1,1. Fighting (+2 touch).

Re: Chapter 14.4: Shootout at the Weeping Moon Lodge

Danny fumbles the catch...as first it seems like he's got it, and he takes a swing--then the lamp slips out of his grip, and crashes to the floor. The giant is too busy stepping away from the flaming oil to tag Jake as he scrambles out of arm's length, but now he has a new target.

The punch sends Danny staggering. "DamnĂș ort!" he shouts. "I think we should be runnin' now!"

((OOC: What's a good critical failure for that? Hmm...I know! Danny drops the lamp!

Mr. Lurch opts not to take his free attack against Jake moves out of Melee reach.

He does, however, opt to try and turn Danny into Yankee Paste.

10:15, Today: Mr. Lurch rolled 4,11 using d8,d6, rerolling max with rolls of 4,(6+5)11. Lurch Smash! Ow. Another hit and Raise. Not even Itza-chu gets this lucky, and he has a much better Fighting than Lurch does.

Damage: Mr. Lurch rolled 6,1,2. Total of 9 Damage, which would be a Shaken and 1 Wound for Danny. Remember that Danny has 3 fate chips, though, so he could soak this.

Card for next round: BJ! holy hell, the dice roller hates you.

Resolve Danny's soak (if any) and I'll move on to the next round...which Mr. Lurch starts.))

Re: Chapter 14.4: Shootout at the Weeping Moon Lodge

Danny's stabbing has undone some of the stitching holding the giant together, but he's still solid enough to give the boy another bone-rattling slap.

((OOC: That's a wound for Danny, then.

I missed the damage! It wasn't in the normal OOC colored font, so it slipped past my eyes...bold it next time, would you? That's another wound, so he loses another body part.

I roll on the Injury table: 6. That's a wound in the guts. I roll the d6 again...Broken. Lurch loses a level of Agility, putting him ad d6 Agility along with his missing foot. Still doesn't slow him down much.

He takes another swing at Danny: 10:54, Today: Mr. Lurch rolled 7,7 using d8+2,d6+2, rerolling max with rolls of 5,5. Lurch Smash! Another hit, thanks to the Joker bonus.

10:55, Today: Mr. Lurch rolled 4,3 using d10,d4+2, rerolling max with rolls of 4,1. Damage. That's a Shaken for Danny, which results in Another Wound unless he soaks.

Card for next round: 5D))

The giant lurches after the pair, but Danny's able to get through the heavy stone door without much trouble.

Jake, on the other hand, is just slow enough that Lurch is able to catch up.

"Neeeeeeeed Paaaaaaaaaaarts." He groans, his fingers catching the huckster's collar.

Danny slams the heavy stone door of the lodge shut.

It's quiet now. Very quiet. One would expect the giant to come running or throwing itself at the door, but there's nothing.

The boy looks over at Jake. "Ye look bloody awful." he says.
