Where's da beef?

If Adrian's eaten anything today, it's been "off-camera", hence intermittent prodding from your Little Friend (who's will start hauling on your hunger instincts even though it can't currently do anything else to signal its dissatisfaction with the way Original!Adrian is running the show).

Everyone else bar Alouette and probably Sister Sarah (who wasn't in Blackthorn proper very long before haring off thisaway on the trail of vampires) & accompanying NPCs has eaten Blackthorn beef and is as such likely to turn walker one way or another if they die.

Additionally, Percy's cursed, Charging Bear, Ginny Bruebaker and Wildcat have had recent exposure to vampire saliva, Widow Bradshaw, J.W. Hardin and Mayor Bruebaker have been messing with Things Man Ought Not To Wot Of and Spades, Jake and Harry Lazarus have jiang shi injuries, (though Jake's didn't break skin; he just needs to wash those scratches carefully and dispose of the water somewhere other than the watermelon patch). Fun times!

Re: Where's da beef?

@_@ So many cows...going to hold off scraping the init. together until Jake's had a chance to book it towards the library if he wants, so if anyone's been a muppet and not put theirs down, do so now.

Also, Pierce, where're you taking Marina, and Adrian, inside or outside the library right now? JohnJohn, are you with us or the Woolwich?

Adrian would be outside the library, as far on his way to the roast beef as possible.

Re: Where's da beef?

The porch is full of cows, as is the way to the porch. One of the cows is on fire, though...

Alternately, for extra hilarity he could go in and poke about Ward's bedroom until he found the top of the laundry chute, then stuff her down it to set off the booby trap.

Givin' Jake 'til later tonight before collecting init.

Question: Can I throw a spell into the front room from where I am?  I'm thinking of throwing an area spell there, assuming I can see into it clearly.

If the casting range is linked to smarts, and you know where you are aiming beyond your blinding barrier there, since you cannot see much beyond Evans, Hank and his steer right now.

Also I have yet to find most of the punctuation on the French iPad of my aunt, bear with me...

I'd like to throw an Entangle into the mass of cows in the front room.  Think I can do it?

Re: Where's da beef?

Apologies, I'm away from my rules and steady internet access at present.

Definite answer by the end of the week, but as for Entangle (Blessed can do that? dang...) I'd say only if the trappings could reasonably be beyond the barrier. You'd get some cows, but remember they're Large, too.

Also, Sarah might be interested in encouraging allies over the barrier there. Talk! Strategise! Wonder whether Jake's multi-coloured deathwish will transform into a rock-off between him and the Undead Cowboy Band...

Re: Where's da beef?

Right. Sarah: moving nearer the barrier/to where you can sort of almost see stuff would get you four cows at the edge of your range right now. It'd be -2 for the Medium Burst rather than entangling one cow, trappings still need to make sense, and Hank's still out of ammo and facing down a steer right there if you want to help your long lost differently alive half-brother out instead.

William:
Where're you taking Miss Marina?

Jake: Bear in mind 1) you have Darkness/visibility penalties out there 2) that making holes in lesser vampires without any means to do them permanent damage to hand will make them annoyed.

I'd like to burn her, but I guess there's too many bloody cows in the way right now. Is there a bathroom with a tub or something?
