Re: Chapter 17.3 Two Fools For Sister Sarah
[[Sister Sarah spectacularly splats the sinuous sinister serpent!]]
Slender as the creature is, the full force of a shotgun blast cleaves the snake in two.
Clemmons finally wraps his sleeve over his left hand and bends to untangle the serpents from his feet. They hiss angrily and disperse, falling into a handful of splinters.
There's a sharp, final *BANG* from Hank's direction. "Yeah! ...dang, would you look at that tree." He turns from the burning shrubbery to squint at the others, picking up his decapitated snake. "You got the rest?"
The remaining serpent, its position visible only as a thin smudge of green light, decides not to be here any more. Its dim flickering heads off rapidly through the scrub, soon becoming indistinguishable from the glitter of firelight on pouring rain and the movement of the low brush in the wind.
[[John Wesley Hardin rolled 4,3 using d8,d6, rerolling max with rolls of 4,3. unsnake Wes? He's finally un-snaked, though it takes his turn.
Hank Miller rolled 5,1 using d8-1,d6-1, rerolling max with rolls of 6,2. shootin'. Frikkin' wound, frikkin' melee...
Hank Miller rolled 10 using 1d6, rerolling max with rolls of (6+4)10. red chippit. O_o Well that's a raise.
Hank Miller rolled 10 using 3d6+1, rerolling max with rolls of 3,5,1. damage can has? 2 wounds for snake. It is also splat.
The remaining snake slithers for it, Defensively as possible. John Wes is disinclined to take his free shot as it passes him (being Invisible and Small it'd be -6 to hit anyway, so yeah), so it's heading for the horizon. Thank you for drawing init., but I think we'll drop out of combat rounds now.]]
