A hard fought victory.

And don't worry, it's soupy in the western half of the state, too.

Oh that's easy, just sign here to complete the land transfer - what a shrewd price you bargained, yes, and here, and duplicate here - oh, no- that's insurance for your magical items, not that you'd need it, but wise, very wise - you must be a Talented man, with that shrewd eye on detail...

Glad to hear you are back. You have been sorely missed. Please, take as much time as needed to recuperate. I am sure we will be here when you are hale and whole again :)

Common mistake - that was Donato.  Something about a new family painting or such?

Re: Not Dead Yet

I think... I *think*, but don't quote me on this, that my wife might be ready to comment here in the next day or two. She's still had attorney work to do, despite settling the cases that were keeping her away. But she has also gotten some sleep, and been home with family (including dog!). I don't know when she might start having stories in her head again, though. Our AC died a slow death this week. Kind of distracting.

Re: Not Dead Yet

As the spouse will tell you, there was much sleeping.  Much much sleeping.  Then our HVAC system died and had to be replaced, and my laptop is out for repair and I finally had to go back into the office today.

Seattle was lovely -- I mean really, really lovely.  At least when I got to see it, when I wasn't in a conference room, or in court.  The settlement (of this case, and one that was slated to go to trial this fall, also in Seattle) with one week of evidence to go was a little anti-climactic; there are some defendants taking it to verdict (closing arguments today, jury starts deliberations tomorrow), and we have our collective fingers crossed at the firm that they'll be successful at the end.

Next summer (barring settlement) will have me in Contra Costa County, California.

I need to read up on the threads and remind myself of where the bombs are planted and how close they are on the countdown.  Please continue to be patient while I wrap my head back around the plot-lines.

Heh.  None of them, actually, though my partner Jim is in one of the photos, turned back and talking to people seated on the bench behind him.  That was the day of opening statements, and the courtroom was PACKED.  I'm hidden behind many of the other people in that same photo.

  • Gabhran/Abby/Amhairghin
  • Donato
  • Josep/Charan

Re: Not Dead Yet

Well, I at least got Aeroc to Garflin.  Good news is that I've now reminded myself of where things stood before work swallowed my life.  Bad news is that it's bed-time and I'm not going to have a chance to post again until Sunday afternoon when we get back to the campground.

On another note, Pokemon Go -- surprisingly addictive.
